  1. You strip paint with it, just spray it on the body. Pretty easy, really.
  2. Thanks! I'd love to hear the sound of a blown small block for that long Not to mention I'm putting exhaust cutouts in there so it'd be like open headers..
  3. Thanks! I really wish I would've started doing it sooner though.
  4. Great looking builds everyone Here's an update on mine! The (almost finished) interior: The (almost finished) body: Yes, the Bondo spot it staying. This ain't no trailer queen! Also, this was my first time doing valve stems. Amazing how small of a detail can enhance the car like that.
  5. And I just got an airbrush here not too long back... Haha, pretty cool, thanks
  6. If you only have one, don't plan on cruising around in the pits all day looking for chicks!

  10. Got it from friends in South Dakota in 2007, rust free Gonna be lifted 7", and it's going to have Mickey Thompson Classic rims. Going to be repainted original colors.
  11. I'm usually polishing after only a couple hours.
  12. I use either RTV silicone or Testors clear enamel (in the 1/2 oz. jar).
  13. How are your modeling skills? Bad. Are they where you think they should be considering your modeling experience? Sorry, this question confused me What do you think your strengths are? Erm....nothing. What things do think you need to work on the most? Everything.
  14. I think just doing it gloss black with nothing else on the body would look epic
  15. Super realistic!
  16. Awesome, the way it looks now would be perfect for a diorama
  17. I used it on Model Master enamel and Tamiya lacquer.
  18. Hey all. Found a new paint stripper, it strips it off in just a matter of minutes Mineral spirits. Don't use lacquer thinner, it will melt the plastic. The mineral spirits take the paint off really fast...my part was stripped in 20 minutes. And no, it won't melt it
  19. I personally only use my airbrush for painting bodies, everything else is sprayed.
  20. Get rid of the Krylon! Never had good luck with that stuff.
  21. Well I think I finally decided on a color for the Chevy.... ...Primer. I want to keep this build somewhat simple, that won't happen though
  22. Does trying to make working exhaust cutouts count?
