  1. Added some more detail. made a complete shift linkage when the kit had nothing. Also added a tach line and gas line. scratch made U-joint, as close as I could make to scale. view of full linkage, matches all the pics I've seen of this car.
  2. Holy Cow!! Where did you get this idea? This is one of the wildest builds I have ever seen and it is absolutely top notch stuff.
  3. Great Looking!! Where did you get the cooler?
  4. Worked for 2 hrs on this dash, added some scratch switches, hope they look good. Thanks for looking
  5. I got it at a store near the meijers at 28th/Kalamazoo (World Trade ?) but the last time I was there I did not see any more
  6. Good clean build, should be proud of it
  7. I had a great day today for progress
  8. Looking good, I have the same kit and will be following this build. I have noticed a few sink marks and gaps on the body parts that I will be filling in and re-primmering. I did open up the louvers on the hood.
  9. What do you think the chances are for a Juke kit? I really want to get my hands on one.
  10. Thanks, I think I can get it now, I was thinking that there were tabs that you hooked the belts into but it looks like they lust slip in and get glued. I can also see why everyone uses a cloth belt instead of those P/E ones.
  11. I got the 1/24 Eduard Sparco set and I'm putting it into my McLaren M8D but I'm having a heck of a time getting the center latch put together. The instructions seem pretty darn vague to me and could use some help. Thanks
  12. Have to give them points at least for imagination. Looks like something from a Top Gear show.
  13. Looks very good!! The only thing I could see would maybe adding some spark plug boots? keep up the great work
  14. Thanks for the info, always good to learn something new everyday
  15. Very clean work, well done I'm just curious, what is the reason for the netting on the wheelie bars?
  16. LOL, you can always tell a Michigander by the way they point to their hand when you ask them where they live I live south of you in GR, got stuck twice coming into work this morning. getting home should be fun.
  17. Looks very nice, looking forward to seeing more.
  18. Were you around for the Blizzard of "78? Now THAT was a storm!!! My family was snowed OUT of our house for a week. School was off for 2 weeks I think.
  19. The weather guys have not been right all ###### season so if we see 6in I'll be surprised. It still does not stop the idiots from getting out on the road and doing all of 10 mph, they are more of a hazard than the weather.
  20. I would love to get my hands on a Juke kit, I think it would have possibilities to mod it nicely. I also want a kit of the Scion Xb, I had one for 6 yrs.
  21. very nice job, looks very cleanly done and the paint is makes it stand out.
  22. And I thought the rims looked good on my Juke...............
  23. Rattle can, Hugger Orange, came out ok for a can IMO.
  24. I tried to get a lot more done this weekend, I got the first coat of yellow on the body and more of the engine area done. I painted the molded seat belts, i'd like to add some P/E belts but can't figure out how to mount them, lots more detail painting to go in this area, the pic looks like ###### I added some brake line and other detail, how does it look? side view for the "stance" still more to do before fronts go on
  25. Makes you wonder about the back room deal for 40 hrs of live Barret Jackson coverage. It was interesting but a bit over kill.
