Hi Folks, I attended my first model car show last week, the Desert Scale Classic. Awesome show and I had a great time. I had my 2 metal projects together on the projects table and thought they looked kinda cool together. Here are a couple of pics.... I want add my 2 cents about the DSC......What an AWESOME show!!! The Cactus Modelers put a lot of effort into this and it really showed. The venue was unique and very cool. The quality of the models was outstanding. I just wish the host club's display area would have been larger, alot of great models there. The 1:1 bikes and car displayed outside were great. The highlight for me was meeting some of the folks that I see on this forum. I have to thank Steve Prideanx , Mike Cassidy and Chris Sobak for talking about their models with me. I got to meet Joe Goss , Ray Kunn and Greg Meyers. John Teresi and Art Laski are so talented yet so humble. Brad Norgaard and Danno made me feel like part of the family the moment I got there. I even found some goodies to buy ! Thanks to the guys for posting all the pics above. I'm coming back for sure! Randy
