  1. Look forward to seeing what you do with yours, I have that kit somewhere that i built when i was a teenager and later disesembled and waiting to hit the strip tank (Never painted mine, just painted all the silver and red stuff, as well as use the old decals) Look forward to seeing yours, as well as hoping revell reissues this kit for id love to get my hands on one being this was another childhood kit id love to have again
  2. Here is my "BRING BACK YOUR DEAD BUILD" hosted by the Snake himself, This kit started out as a box kit of a sba 377 with a Series 60 Leaktroit and i started modifying the fenders to a set forward axle instead of the sba, I will be Re-Powering it with a Cat 3406 i had in the parts box from an old Snap pete kit that i swapped out for a Leaktroit from an ALF Fire truck. Here is the kits contents as is- Partially started frame- 3406 Re-Power plant- Fenders have been made out of the kit fenders, but needs the hood built (Why i ordered some sheets of Plastruct), Might also have to find a new bumper for this kit? I think i got the pieces still maybe i can fix this issue of a wrongfully cut bumper??? Axles, I need to find the tie rod for it disappeared somewhere ??? Thanks for watching, Comments/Criticism welcomed!
  3. My Dead build thread will be in the Big Rig Workbench section of this site. (I am uploading as i type this) and ill post a link here in a bit when its done uploading My build im looking into is a Italeri Peterbilt 377 sba kit that i "WAS" converting to a set forward axle with a Cat Re-Power. And it got me to order some Plastruct to actually build out the hood now that the fenders have been built, I started it way back then (Ill have to research all this information when i started and all the info that i had for it Edit: Heres the link finally...

  17. I thought i posted my snappers to here but guess not so here it goes 1. Snap 359 Revell Converted to a 349H inspired by a Brochure truck that the Pete Guru Tim A. posted way back when ( A little freelance was involved to) 2. Snap 359 Converted to a 113'' short hood, Still need to body work it 3. Snap 359 AMT Rendition Currently AS-IS last i worked on it
  18. Cool build, Did you say if i read it right that the hood is an AITM piece?
  19. If you're not using the tires pm me, I need another set. You will find that kit is great to build, just paint the tips of those mounting tabs on the frame same as the body color and the battery boxes tabs hit them with some chrome, and it will take care of that to Only thing I dislike is they never made a mold for a visit since the cab looks NAKED without it (Could make an AMT visor fit with a bit of sanding on the cab and visor itself?)
  20. I use Valspar white primer and it's only $6-7 dollars and change with tax... And it's a big can
  21. Neat, How did you do that trim? Is it scratched or grafted from the 55 Chev kit or??
  22. Let's see what Y'all did or in the progress of working on your kit... I NEED INSPIRED!?
