I have been bored for obvious reasons (hand) and figured i would get the thread started for my next build. So i ended up wanting to do up a 1/8 32 Deuce i had sitting here, Not really 100% sure what direction this build will go right now. So far i'm leaning toward the classic 32 Deuce look with moon disc, For the power plant i'm working on getting a resin block with Ardun heads, Not sure what i'm doing for intake and carb yet but i would like to do a modern induction with either a belt or gear driven procharger. Going to probably go with a 9" rear and trans still up in the air. I love the size of this scale. Going to start boxing out the frame in the next day or 2 with the help of my brother. He's my 2nd hand for now. I would like it to look like this, same color also.

Nice work Tyrone, Love the Carb's, Glad to here the surgery went well, make sure you do the therapy. I had an ACL done and therapy was the key.

Thx. for all the kind words and well wishes guys. My brother is going to purchase some of the parts for me for my next build, He also wants to give me some help starting the project until i go it alone. Look for it in the Big boys section later in the week. It will be 1/8 scale.

Just a little update for those interested. Had surgery Monday to put a plate and some screws in my ring finger, All went well and Doc said i should recover close to 100%. He said the scaring shouldn't be to bad , The swelling is all the way down in the other fingers and they still look almost normal lol. I might be able to go back to work in May and just do some easy handwork so that should be good. I'm allready thinking up a new project.

Thx. everybody, Swelling is down. going in friday for visit if all goes well surgery on one finger next week to get plate and screws other finger should heal fine by itself. I have a set of nice micro nitro 1/12th mickey thompson wheels and TDR drag radials if anybody is interested.

Thx. For all the kind words fellas, definitely sucks but what are you going to do . Mike Boyd the driver of the winged express altered bought it. He said he will finish it at some point. Not sure if he is a member here or not, He said he is working on a 63 promod Bette now with a brass chassis. Joe

Hey guys. I have some bad news. I was originally going to sell this build then decided not to, Well i was hurt at work pretty good friday 3rd shift into saturday morning. So now i have to go out of work on comp and that's not going to cut it $$ wise so i had to sell this build for the extra cash. Not sure i would have been able to finish it at this point do to the extent of the injuries to my hand, I'm still going to need some surgeries. Hopefully at some point i will be able to get back to modeling and build something else, but at this point just worried about getting back to work sometime. I would like to thank everyone for there support and help and kind words during this build and hopefully the new owner will finish it off nicely and give me credit for building 90% of it when someone asks. I would like to give a Big thank you to Dave(comp1839) with out him this build wouldn't have been as accurate as it is and also thx. to Clay Kemp for taking the time to help me through this build also and Jim(micronitro) for making all the cool aluminum parts for it. This took forever to type one handed lol. Joe

Finished up the Bull Horns, Painted alclad high polish aluminum with some transparent yellow where they exit the turbo's to simulate heat. i added a styrene ring to the exhaust where it exits the turbo's then added a piece of printing plate to simulate the main part of a V-band clamp. I used some aluminum tube,brass wire and a nut on the end to finish it off. I wanted to do it another way that would have looked more realistic but the plate kept kinking, so after 10 tries i gave up. Still need to add the O2 sensors.
