  1. Cool, thinking about hitting up the artist and starting on a 2012/2013 camaro body.
  2. Any updates on this one?
  3. Mike, I think i used .100" for most of the main chassis, the .080" and .060" for the other stuff. Not sure if it will help you, but there is alot of good info in my 57 promod build thread from people helping me. just will take some time to page through it. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=48179&hl=%2B57+%2Bpromod
  4. I'm with you on the looking part, that's why my last build was over a year and a half long and still not done, I'm just saying if it's not 100% accurate don't sweat it and make yourself crazy over it, that's what I did and had to take breaks and go back to it.
  5. Thanks for posting that Dave, alot of work those guys do in a short amount of time.
  6. Isn't that on every forum, even this one? not standing up for yellowbullet , just sayin. Your building in 1/25th, you won't get every last little bar in the car to make it 100% accurate, you would never be able to get to the interior area to build. Even on my 1/16th promod i didn't have every bar, most people would not even know certain bars are missing when they seen it, even on this forum. Goggle promod chassis , there are tons of good reference pictures. I'm sure you will get it figured out. post some updates.
  7. Any updates Bill?
  8. More stellar chassis work. Looks great Dave.
  9. WHoa baby, Not going to miss that one on the table. It's going to look great with decals and clear. I like it.
  10. If your referring to the 2 gold things in the attached picture, they would be the dual fuel pumps. The oil pump is on the side of the block.
  11. amazing amount of work you put into this body Jeff, looks awesome and fast sitting there.
  12. He was just saying he bought the printer and liked it, No need to be an ignorant p r i c k about it.
  13. Really nice work Tyrone, you nailed that cowl hood and motor plate.
  14. Body looks good, Did they model it to print with the holes in the fenders? When you going to get started on it?
  15. Awesome work Dirk, really love seeing it come together.
  16. looking good Chris, i would venture to guess by the size it's a 10lb bottle.
  17. Great pictures, thx. for sharing.
  18. Nice Dave, I haven't been to the pro race in about 5 years. Need to get back up there. Joe
  19. I'm sure he is replicating a gear driven procharger.
  20. I like where your going with this Tyrone, Building it just like the real thing.
  21. Awesome work Tyrone, Any colors picked yet?
  22. Unreal work Bill, Those air cleaners are sweet.
  23. Joe Barry's 56 chevy, Bad ass car. I think his fastest this years was a 7.15
  24. Oh yeah, Part i have been waiting for. Great start Dave, Question for you, Any particular reason you start at the back like that? Or just personal preference?
  25. Scott, man you do some amazing work my friend. I for one would think the wing and plates would look much more realistic, I would think you could add raised bumps to replicate the screws? Only concern with using photo etch is can you decal it if someone wanted to do carbon fiber? Joe
