  1. The only B4C Camaro's were 1991 and 1992 models in that body style. I'm sure you can find some department that may have had one or two normal cars over the years, but these were the only 2 years. I use the old AMT snaptite Z28 kit, which was also a promo car IIRC. The only thing you have to do is grind off the hood scoops, and make a new rear spoiler. HTH,.. Jeff
  2. That would be cool, if you don't mind. I was just at the KSP fleet garage a few weeks and have a bug to do a few cars... Jeff
  3. Man is that purdy! Jeff
  4. Nice build, where did you get the 1998 anniversary decals from if you don't mind me asking, I have a couple KSP cars I'd like to build. Jeff
  5. Nice build, as a kid, I never minded sitting in the back with that view....glass everywhere! Jeff
  6. America's Best, they have a ton of old stuff, its about the best one going around here anymore.... Jeff
  7. Hell, I'd even take a plastic kit of the last Crown Vic (98-11') thats been dead for 4 years now....but this 95-97 body, cmon.... Jeff
  8. MSP cars are some of my favorite, keep up the good work! Jeff
  9. Since you're doing such a great job on the interior, most police radar units operate via a remote, which is another cord coming from the back of the unit to a head that's about as large as a deck of playing cards. It usually (all mine have for the last 18 years), tends to rest on top of the radio controls, then just sit in my hand when I'm running moving radar. HTH, looks great so far! Jeff
  10. Great build! I like the Setina decals on the front push bumper. I hope someone makes a kit of the 2011-2014 Charger myself, but its getting kinda late, and the 2015 looks like a Dart.... Jeff
  11. Looks good so far, just as a note, the Chimneyville decals are incorrect for the STATE TROOPER lettering on the front quarter panels, they are printed in white, and have always been a yellow-gold color. Jeff
  12. I was there about 3 weeks ago and bought a kit, I had no idea it was gonna close, and nobody gave an inclination it was going to do so either. Very sad... Jeff
  13. No Mitch, no insults, its mostly a great kit except for the roofline on the body, which takes major repair to fix. This led to one of the awesome resin casters here to make a new one for sale. Its just that its a shame given the opportunity for a newly tooled kit to have such a big flaw... Jeff
  14. As suspected, a missed opportunity, and a big let down..... Jeff
  15. Owned one almost exactly like this in 84, with a white top though, great build! Jeff
  16. I'm just saying, having owned two LX 5.0 notchbacks, being a police officer, my old neighbor in Florida being a trooper driving a Mustang, and my cousin being a trooper in Nevada having driven one, this is a car very near and dear to my heart. I originally was going to buy dozens, to build all of the SSP's in state service, however, after buying just one, to see how bad it is...and after talking to Ed Sexton at an IPMS Nats where our vendor table was across from RM's, I am very disappointed with the body on this kit. So much so, I may build my old AAM resin one, or buy the new resin kit. Its such a shame, they still have a chance to make it right, but that new drag body looks the same.... Jeff
  17. What a Beaut!!! Jeff
  18. I dunno, comparing that pic to the original kit...really looks the same....I don't wanna be a guinea pig again.... Jeff
  19. Got mine from a Hobby Lobby changing out racks for $20.... Jeff
  20. Its just the standard 40% off you can get with their coupons (app or the paper). I was gonna wait for the deeper cuts....I just wonder what's gonna replace em... Jeff
  21. Nice! The FHP only ran a handful with the vector bar, which to me looked badass....Great choice in SSP's.... Jeff
  22. Its a great deal that'll keep new blood flowing into the hobby, hell, Revell and Round 2 might even consider producing a few more modern car kits...hope they have a similar Make n Take at Chicago's show in a few weeks, I've got 3 young sons who love Mustangs....just like their Dad... Jeff
  23. Michigan had a different radar setup, and they all had videocameras as well. They also ran rear radar antennas... Jeff
  24. Very cool build, my department bought a K-car station wagon for patrol...what a dog...only lasted a year on patrol. The paint looks great! Jeff
