6 DAYS TO ACME. I’m not in panic mode yet, but this build is really fighting me. I keep having to do things over, not twice but three and four four times. I’m on my third dashboard, it’s just OK and will have to do, the flocking for the carpet is rough, gladly it will be hard to see once the glass is installed. I sanded and polished the paint and knocked the hood with my Dremel.I’m starting on the motor, so far so good. I still haven’t found employment here, with my luck I’ll get a job and have to start before I finish this one.

Thanks Ricky, I try to make ‘‘em close. This was the first time I was disappointed in the Slixx decals the graphics were great, but the sponsors decals were a little off register and not opaque. I had two decal sheets and both were the same. I sourced the decals from the earlier Slixx contingency decal sheet. The SSDI photo shows coil springs, regular shocks, and a 4 link, no air bags, I’m not sure they were available in 72?

Thanks Rich!

I’m using the 3D printed grill and it has tabs that line up with the reissued Demon front bumper. I was comparing it to the original bumper/ grille and there’s a lot of difference between the two. The new bumper has very sharp edges. The recess for the license plate should not be filled. Need to do some work.

Quick status update. Decals applied and clear coated with Splash 2K clear, love this paint! A couple specks of dirt, I will polish out in a couple days.
