  1. That’s beautiful!
  2. Your build looks good! And you are right the kit leaves a lot to be desired. It seem to me that someone on the forum was trying to build an accurate Multi Maverick a couple years back, I don’t know if he ever finished it or not.
  3. I know I already posted this but I couldn’t leave it as it was. After working on this for 11 months, and trying to rush to finish it for the ACME show, I was burnt out, and frustrated with this build and put it on the shelf. Ron Thorne commented on a couple items that were not completed or correct and that was what I needed to motivate me to make it right. So for the last three days snowed in, in Georgia, I tried to correct a few things. You may not remember but the rear wheels were resin and I almost destroyed them by stripping the Molotow Chrome off after it didn’t turn out. The 91% alcohol melted the resin, a first for me. So I replaced the rear wheels with modified parts box wheels. My first attempts at the drive shaft loops was a major fail, and I tried to make a crossmember/ drive shaft loop with no luck. This time the first attempt worked. Under the hood I’ve added the brake master cylinder with brake lines you can’t see, the inner fenders, the coil, and the dry sump oil lines. I also added the rear Shocks, the rack and pinion steering, and I added hood pins to the trunk and hood. Thanks Ron! I’m feeling much better with the results now!
  4. That looks gorgeous! Silk and shiny, don’t drop it 😂
  5. Great idea and execution!
  6. These make great Drag Cars, nice looking!
  7. Nice work Michael!

  10. So Cool, love those Altered’s!
  11. Looks great!
  12. That was probably the most accurate funny car kit produced in the early 70s, and it’s really overlooked a lot. You did an amazing job! Just Beautiful! Super Clean build!
  13. That’s Beautiful Scott, very well done!
  14. Thank you Hakan!
  15. Thanks Bill!
  16. Thank you Rich. I like sharing my builds on the forum, I sometimes think I make too many posts and show more than I need to. I’ve thought about doing a YouTube channel, but still not sure. The forum is easy to do. I’m thinking of the Scotto & Blevens 66 Corvette or maybe the Reher and Morrison 67 Corvette. Drag racing Corvettes we’re so prevalent in the Modified Production class, and I haven’t built any Corvette’s yet.
  17. Thank you Walter!
  18. Thank you Donato, I appreciate that!
  19. Very cool build, I love you line up of altered’s!
  20. Thanks Scott!
  21. Thank you David, much appreciated!
  22. Thank you Marurice, I painted the Red and Purple panels, and then I cut the pinstripes from the Slixx decals and the BTK/ Wanted/ Dodge decals worked nicely. The sponsors decals were terrible and I ended up using decals from other Slixx decals sheets I have in my stash.
  23. Thanks Christopher, I agree it was a beautiful car and has been on my build list a very long time.
