Amazing build, excellent detail!
-
Great work, really well done!

That came out great Scott! I’m gonna have to buy a couple Pro Street Nova’s for chassis’s. Very clean build !

That looks great! Very nicely done!

Very cool build!

I thought I’d share my build for a little inspiration Bob. It can be built, I built this in 1989, my first time using Testors Metalizer on the wheels, they have dulled down with age, and the front axle has started to sag, I’m sure you noticed how thin it is. I’m looking forward to seeing yours, you always make them look great!

Wow Terry, amazing work so far! I love your shocks! I’d like to know a little more about their construction. This is going to be cool!

I’ve learned a lot on this one! As with most of my builds they start out seeming much easier and simpler in the beginning. I think I’m past the big hurdles now. Terry, I’ll have a place for you to stay when you come to the ACME show in October.

Thanks Edgar, it’s not quite an 1/8 inch difference but it’s a lot in 1/25 scale.

Thanks Rich, same here in Indiana, my yard looks like August. I still think it feels hotter and more humid in the Midwest than in the south.

I’d like to wish everyone a very happy and safe 4th of July! This may be my last post for a while, as my wife and I have listed our house for sale, and are hoping to return to Georgia to be near our girls. I wasn’t completely satisfied with the height of the rear of the BTK Demon and wanted to get past this last hurdle before having to pack everything up. I enlarged the holes in the floor pan to recess the top of the coil over shocks, I then made a .030 spacer and a new mount for the shock stems to rest in. Not completely accurate by any means, but this is my first coil over rear suspension and I’m making adjustments and concessions to avoid creating a completely new chassis. I’ve learned a lot with this and I think I will be good with the final build. I’m getting a little impatient and would really like to move on to some painting. I hate moving!?

Looking forward to your build Bob. This kit is was amazing back in 63, opening doors, trunk and hood steerable front wheels and a very accurate Stone, Woods and Cook Gasser! Age hasn’t been good to the molds and the kit is a challenge to start with. I sure you’ll do it justice!

Thanks Scott, I’ve had this thing mocked up a hundred times already and still making changes.
-
Amen!

Thank you Tony! I’m not sure why it’s important to me, but I like my builds to look accurate.

Sorry for the delayed response Mark, thank you, my next area of concern will be headers ?

Love the color Bob, another great build! Looking really good!

Looking good Rich!

Beautiful build!
-
Thanks Scott, I think it’s pretty darn close.
-
Thanks Bob, I’m liking it too.

I’m sitting here drinking my coffee and staring at it and trying to decide if I can tweak it just a little more. I thought why not compare it to my California Flash as a reference point. I’ll probably leave it as is, now on to the ladder bars.
