  2. Theres just something about bringing a kit back from the dead.... great job so far I'll keep watching
  3. Fantastic, Incredible build and something different. I have several of Chucks decals but havent got anything far enough along to use them. I Have had the worst Builders Block Ever.... several started, I sit at the bench but nothing happens......about 8 months now.
  4. can you show us a pic of the container to see if its the same stuff I use?
  5. Thanks Brett, you are a very diversified builder. I see a little bit of everything in your collection. Really like that green striped Fiat altered

  8. I think the new cars are alot better looking than the COT, Personally I hope Revell/Monogram jumps on board and kits some, Im ready for something new
  9. I turned 50, felt great no issues what so ever , got pneumonia, landed up in the hospital, coughed so hard I gave my self a double hernia had to be operated on to correct it, have'nt been the same since.

  13. Wow Great builds, hanks for sharing
  14. Good advice here, Ive been in the insurance industry for 30 years, READ YOUR POLICY!!!!! they will cover collections but there is a dollar limit to it. If your collection exceeds this amount you need to have a writer added to the policy to make up the difference.
  15. Amazing
  16. Chrysler also used Pinion Snubbers, this was a bracket that bolted to the top of the third member with a rubber snubber that would contact with the floor pan under hard acceleration, acting like a lever, planting the tires harder onto the ground.
  17. Welcome Marty from another kinda old guy
  18. I'm supposing your talking about Funny car Bodies, here's the Revell body I modified by shortening the rear wheel openings almost a 1/4 inch and using the monogram slicks. To me it helped the look tremendously, On my next Monza build I will also add material to the rocker panels as the body seems narrow, could be because the shorter rear wheel opening lengthened the side profile.
  19. Looks great so far
  20. Heres a 73-75 Duster body I got off E-Bay, unknown maker, While they got the hood and front end right the overall detail and body lins are from soft to nonesistent. note the short deck is also pretty close. I ll probably start modifying the Revell body.
  21. Some of the stuff Ive collected over the years, My favorite has to be the work bench, I have no clue where it came from...any clues?....it did have a spotlight moulded to the top, and it looked very unrealistic so I shaved it off. My plans are to include it in my MRC Texaco station. I also really like the face mask.... dont know where this came from either.
  22. I'm going to give this a shot, I have nothing to loose. I've just not been very successful in my prio attempts. I;ll keep you posted.
  23. Bill, Thanks for clear explanation, I'm trying to learn some new skills.
  24. Great work Drew, as usual, you've captured the essence of this car, I would recognize it as Garlets car even without the decals. thanks for posting.
