Just started following this build, looks great so far, love the scratch building. I'm learning so much, and even started trying some myself.......Just a thought here, did you think of asking Stephanie Rose how she would like it to look? Growing up in a house full of women and now married with two daughters, the one thing I've learned is they have very definate ideas of what they want and like.

]My wife is an Interior Decorator, and she likes our house to reflect this, its important for everything to have "THE LQQK". This is'nt a bad thing and most of the very cool things I have in my office/ model room have come from her. One of my display cases is my favorite. It came from a store in a small town here in Illinois. Its a true antique with original top, front and side glass all very wavy. The glass shelves were missing as was the rear sliding doors. I'm no carpenter but I did Manage to hobbel out two new sliding door made of beadboard and MDF. I purchased new glass shelves from a local glass shop. Being an antique it has no provision for lighting,so I positioned the display case under two can light in the ceiling. I dont hardly have $200.00 in the whole thing and it houses my collection of 1320 Diecast, and 28 plastc builds, as well as old AMT and Revell parts packs. I also display vintage AMT Kandy Kolor spray cans as well as an assortment of Glue tubes in various stages of emptyness, lastly, strewn about is race track ticket stubs from drag races I"ve attended over the years .

Drew, you have one thing up on most of us.....YOU FINISHED IT ANYWAY.... have you noticed how many WIPs just stop. a lot of us give up toss it into the box and forget about it. On to the next one. Thats the great thing about modeling, if it doesnt work out you can scrap it, It might be interresting for everyone to pull out a bailed progect and randomly mail it to some one on this forum to see what they can do with it. LOL

Great work....would love to see more of these builds posted, As Funny cars got funnier [unidentifiable] and Pro stocks seem to be following the same trend, I find I like the lower class cars in Stock and Super Stock. Super Stock now reminds me of how Pro Stock Racing was in the early 70s.Cars I can recognize, colorful paint jobs, cars with names, not sponsors, Wheelstand starts shifting gears, and close racing. Love your build, keep em coming!

I love It Drew,Great work as usual, Your my Hero, How about a photo of your display case, you must have hundreds of builts by now. Psst, When I turned 50, got my AARP card, and I order the Senior coffee at McDs ,its a smal,l but it only costs 50 cents.

WOW I've been wanting to do this build myself, keep posting, Looks great so far. I have a soft spot for AMC Drag cars. As a little kid I was'nt allowed to leave the city block we lived on,and there was an AMC dealer on one end, the first drag car I ever saw was the Grant Rebel SST funny car on the sidewalk in front of the dealership... Ive been a Drag Race fan ever since..... yea yea I know Im OLD.
