I just broke my keyboard in half when my jaw hit it. Man, this is some killer scratchin' Keep at it and am glad to hear you're just hitting your groove.
Man this will be killer. You know me, John, I love the polished aluminum.
The bleachers here are sure getting crowded, there's hardly a seat left in the front row. Glad I got here when I did.
Well? Its now after 8pm and still no update? I'm on the edge of my seat and will continue to be until an update is forthcoming and my butt's falling asleep.
So how did I miss it was your b'day? Happy belated birthday, bud.
How kewl is that!! I LOVE vintage trailers. I'll be keeping an eye on this one. Makes me want to get back to mine.

Simply incredible scratching mate. Each post is a grand statement of your fantastic scratch-building skills. I'm on the edge of my seat for the brakes.
Having not built any of these chassis either, it does seem to be a black art to me as well Terry. I love the fact that all of this is scratch-built and is unique to each body style for fit and placement. Makes it all that much more interesting and jaw-dropping. Nice work Wayne.
That shift box, as well as everything else, looks fantastic John. I don't know how your chassis stay so clean with all of the handling it takes. my chassis always seems to get thin paint or, at a minimum, the paint gets dull.
You're making some good progress Jeff and am anxious to see more. Here's a couple of shots of my dio that was done a number of years ago. It was a lot of fun to build and I may do another one in the future.
Great to see you have returned and love how this build turned out. I don't know what you originally had planned for decals but these came out great.
Welcome back and glad to see this one finished. Great to see you've returned and kept right on building.
I just found this thread and I'm in awe. John - you never cease to amaze me with your ability to find some new subject matter as well as your amazing talent. Just curious, do you plan on spelling Fort Lauderdale correctly or matching the truck lettering?
Yup, those slicks are huge. I originally thought you'd never get them under that body but you proved me wrong and I'm thrilled they fit as this build is outta da park. Keep at it and sending us updates.
I would have done the same thing Rom. As you know, I love a good dio and nothing makes a model stand out better than an appropriate background. The yellow walls are a bit surprising though.
Try holding the rod along side the candle flame as opposed to over it. Go in slow and keep trying to bend it so you'll get a feel for how far away from the flame works best.
