Everyone of these builds in this thread so far is top notch. As for me, seems I'll be uable to finish one this year but am really close on the Fiat Topo. Just paint, decals and a few details to go. Seasons greetings to all my forum friends.

This is really nice. I love how it sits and having the rallies is great. My older brother had an SS 396 that screamed. I never could talk him into letting me drive it, probably because I was 16 at the time. He sold it after he got a ticket for doing 120 south of town and lost his license.

Awesome progress Chris. Glad see an update. Loving the fact that you have a new body to work with. Reworking the rear window like we spoke of will be worth it alone. Just how differet are the fronts on the two bodies other than the tire 'vents'?

That is a great candidate for a gasser build. Where will you source the big and little Cragar SS rims?

Charlie - I can make the decal artwork but have no way of printing them. Just need some measurements. At least that's half the battle.

Thanks Ron. Doing up the Harley was fun and a bit different for me. Here's a T shirt design that was done for our club's annual contest in 1996. There's a few of these around but not many.

Now those are some serious eye candy, shiny holiday eye candy. Hard to pick a favorite because I love them all. Really looking forward to seeing what comes out of the lab-RAT-ory on all of these.

She can pit crew for me anytime. On another note, I see Black Magic had two different drivers; Santucci and Segrini. The one photo with the body up and the Santucci driver, shows a difference at the rear of the side window opening where it comes to a point. Were there any other differences that you guys know about? Brett - who's going to be your driver?

Wow!! This is looking killer. Not usually a fan of green but that color looks great on this body.

Stalled project, you say? well I have a few and I think that my Willys is close to 22 years on the shelf. After getting to making the roll bars, the door hinges wouldn't work no matter if I went traditional or suicide so it got put aside. I thought about just gluing the doors solid but there's just too much going on in the cockpit to not have the doors open. This build was before after market goodies were available so I used what I could find that looked good like colored foil for the anodized fittings, O rings from Bic lighters for the wheelie wheels, painted masking tape for the seat belts and floor mats, the firewall was made from printing plate as well as the seat belt hardware. It has a tilt steering wheel and functioning gas pedal. One day, it'll get done. I promise. Just need to figure out the door hinges. Maybe I'll just leave out the roll cage.

You're making great progress on this and I can't wait to see more. Glad to see that you're trying and learning new things on this build. Keep at it Niko. This will be a killer build when done.

Those are really some fine examples of gassers although I question the Fiat as a gasser since the window decal has it listed as a AA/FA making it a Fuel Altered. I've got a few gassers knocking around in my head too and they will be ficticious and vintage. Great thread Dr.

I find it hard to believe you're a newbie with the way that looks but then a lot can happen in a year. How's that learning curve coming along? Great looking and clean too!!
