Stalled project, you say? well I have a few and I think that my Willys is close to 22 years on the shelf. After getting to making the roll bars, the door hinges wouldn't work no matter if I went traditional or suicide so it got put aside. I thought about just gluing the doors solid but there's just too much going on in the cockpit to not have the doors open. This build was before after market goodies were available so I used what I could find that looked good like colored foil for the anodized fittings, O rings from Bic lighters for the wheelie wheels, painted masking tape for the seat belts and floor mats, the firewall was made from printing plate as well as the seat belt hardware. It has a tilt steering wheel and functioning gas pedal.
One day, it'll get done. I promise. Just need to figure out the door hinges. Maybe I'll just leave out the roll cage.
