  1. Much appreciated G. Thanks.
  2. The new Contest Issue of MCMagazine was in my mailbox yesterday and to my surprise, the Carney Wagon made the issue.
  3. Well, no work at the bench this weekend. Had to dig up the power line to my pool pump and run a new feed. Now that was fun, not.
  4. Great job brother. Looks like class is back in session.
  5. As the birthday boy, let me say you have a nice rear end and I don't tell many of the fellas that. Great job brother. Your weathering is always so spot on.
  6. Thanks fells. I hope to get some time on this over the weekend.
  7. I have around 80 reference photos of the car and it sure has proven valuable. So much different than the stock sprint car kits.
  8. Another stellar update my friend. Glad to see you back at the bench. Next?
  9. I can't seem to get very far. I got a bunch of stuff from Dirt Modeler and can't figure out how it goes together. I just don't know much about these sprint cars.
  10. Pulled this one down off the shelf and started tinkering with the rear brake and axle set up. More to follow.
  11. John - your stuff is so cleanly built and spot on. Very nicely done. I always enjoy viewing your builds.
  12. Oh yea, this will be good. Glad to see a progress build of yours that a vintage rod with fenders.
  13. Thanks so much Kenneth. Just about time to dust this off again and add a few more items.
  14. Nuthin' yet fellas. I did find a crankshaft that needed a bunch of clean up and it got painted last night. Just haven't been in bench mood lately.
  15. Tim - great description and details but I still wish you'd attach a GoPro to your shoulder when you do things of this magnitude.
  16. Unbelievable. I'm in utter awe of your mad skills and patience. What did you use to start with for raw material?
  17. This is just so over the top brother. So glad to see some progress.
  18. That is totally amazing. Twenty hours of work and it really shows. Nicely done.
  19. Thanks so much Jason. I had a lot of fun on this one. Have tentative plans to make another similar one.
  20. I'm all giddey Tim. This will be a blast to follow along if you,as you have in the past, show every step and process of the build.
  21. You are making me smile my friend. Big smile indeed. F/A's rock!! I really was certain this was going to be your decision in the end anyway. Glad you finally realized it.
  22. Hey JWrass, how's this one coming along?? I was enjoying you progress.
  23. Thanks Mike. I'm cutting the metal with a good heavy scissors and then sanding with finer and finer grades of sanding boards. I have plans to add a layer of the thinner aluminum plate on top of the sides where the doors would be and then add a door pull, just haven't got there yet. I appreciate your feedback and input.
  24. More bench time since the last post and the interior is almost buttoned up. Still have the dash and steering wheel to do. Man is there a lot of tin in there. LOL
