  1. Top notch work brother. Always enjoy your updates and builds. Keep krankin' 'em out. Looking forward to some paint.
  2. Looks like a beast. I too like that its a gasser and not a custom.
  3. Looks great Ray. I have this kit and would be proud if mine looked like this one.
  4. That black paint is stellar. Whole build looks great.
  5. I also use PhotoBucket but I think Flicker works too. You can set up an account without a hosting charge and manage all of your photos from there.
  6. Thanks brother. Really appreciate your interest. New parts arriving soon, then I'll get back to the hairpins.
  7. Thanks Danno. Appreciate your interest. Good to see you Saturday.
  8. Me too Len, me too.
  9. That looks so right. Nicely done.
  10. Johnny...you do the coolest projects. Loving every bit of this build and know it will continue to amaze. Man that guy is really wedged in there.
  11. Thanks a lot Michael. Much appreciated.
  12. Thanks brother. I'm happy with the steering wheel and how the radius arms are coming along.
  13. I just couldn't let it be so I found a machined 'radiator cap' that fit there perfectly. Now Walt can honk at spectators while going down the return lane. Well, I lied. I'm not working on the tins, I've moved on to the radius arms. I've been putting them off forever it seems and have been contemplating how to do them so last night, I just jumped in. These are made from stainless steel tubing and rod ends both from RB Motion. I slid a tight-fitting wire down the center of the tubing to where the bend would be and bent them around my conical jaw pliers that's made for jewelry making from Michaels. I think I've solved the issue where the back end piece gets attached to the bend but more on that later. I haven't actually done it yet. I need to order some more nuts and bolts from Scale Hardware this morning before I go too much further on these. I did need to reduce the overall size of the batwings, big improvement. The fun continues so stay tuned.
  14. Some more work done yesterday although it took me a while on the throttle return spring since they kept flying off the tweezers. This is the fourth one and I had to find it twice on the floor. I also made two brackets out of printing plate, one for the spring and one for the throttle cable. Also was able to get the steering wheel completed. I'm really happy with it although I'm not sure about putting a center section on it to cover the three straight bends. Interior is now just about buttoned up. Work now will focus on interior tins. Thanks for your interest and as always, comments welcome.
  15. No. That's silk, a thread and not wire. This is the stuff. http://www.orvis.com/p/ultra-wire/28ka
  16. Its used for tying flies that go on the end of your line that try to fool the fish into think they're food.
  17. Closed for ten years? You need to get out more. Orvis.com is where you can order this stuff and I know there's a few Orvis stores over there just maybe not to close to you.
  18. The stuff I've been using is labeled Ultra Wire and is listed as the small size. It measures 0.006 in diameter. They also have an XS, medium and large size. Did you get a chance to go to the flyfishing store this past weekend?
  19. I suppose next you'll tell us that the "loud" pedal will be functioning all the way to the fuel induction system complete with return tension. If you're a PeeWee football player, then I haven't even been born yet.
  20. This will be fun to watch come together brother. Great choice. I'm looking forward to a Teresi masterpiece paint job on this one.
  21. Just caught up with this one Bernard and it has "the look." As stated above, you always get your vintage builds period correct and this one is no exception. Love it and its a Fiat as well.
  22. OK try it again. I had no idea my PM folder was full and then it took some time how to delete some them to make more room.
  23. Oh frigg it…I messed my self again. Dang it Tim. I need to get to Kmart and buy a whole case of new underwear and its all because of you. That is ungodly work my friend. Is there a line for tutoring I should be standing in? How about a pull number machine I should be using? What number are we up to now?
  24. That looks more better. Hey Joe - PM me your email address so we can discuss sheet aluminum.
  25. I have no idea why this software does this when I try to go back and make edits before I even post. I'm tired of fighting with it. Here's the missing pictures.
