I remember my brother-in-law, Larry had one of these. Hardtop big engine. On of his kids let a crayon run down the defrost vent. I used to lmao every time he turned on the heat. It smelled like a candle factory....
So the water(room temp) did nothing. The 91% alchohol substantially removed it. I really can't tell if it dissolved the glue or it dissolved the tamiya gray primer underneath. Regardless i appear to now have about 90% of the focking removed.

It has dried painted and now I have soaked the paint off but the embossing powder is still there virtually intact after a day in the purple bath. I used Weldbond white glue not Elmers. It is rubbery in part and rock hard in other areas.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. It is currently soaking in plain water.
