  1. inkjet vs laser----I can't help there, never used the laser
  2. You didn't step on my toes. Some people are happy doing the inkjet decals, which can be timeconsuming in itself, considering the curing times for the ink and the clearcoat. A lot of people don't realize just how much does go into creating the artwork for some of the decals on the market today. I know for myself, I can spend as little as an hour putting a simple text decal together on up to several weeks working on a complete truck & trailer set. Anyone in the graphics business knows what I'm talking about. I originally started out doing inkjet, now everything is done on my ALPS printers.
  3. You forgot about the $20,000 printer!!!!! I can relate......lots of trial & error. If everyone starts making decals, I will be out of business!!!!!
  4. I picked the kit up today and hopefully I will have some reefer options shortly.
  5. Excellent buildup and great subject to start some new decals for. Thanks Dave for yet another new tooling.
  6. Brandan, when it comes to dealing with aftermarket parts, you have to be careful who you buy from, especially resin products. There are people who buy from top notch casters (such as Eric at P &P, Dave at AITM, KFS, Auslow and others) and in turn cast them themselves. Copycat caster have inferior work not to mention no morals about copying someone else's work. Ben Wicker does great masters and he can answer any questions about who to buy from, not only resin, but other products as well. As Brian posted, Eric does some Texas style bumpers in resin and you can also find some stainless and aluminum ones on ebay from Ryan who goes by rhino9905.
  7. I am looking for some good shots and will add it to the sheet.
  8. I have the original sheet and I am working on them at the moment. Was there anything in particular you were looking for?
  9. The trailer decals I print are based on the AMT 40' kit.
  10. Eric is the only one casting the Crackerbox right now, but it's 1/32 scale. I got mine from Spaulding a while back. You may want to drop Spaulding an email to see it they will have it again.
  11. Rich, Aussie Resin models is casting them. You can also find him on ebay under auskid40.
  12. Front/ side shot. Roof lites are from the Ford LN kit.
  13. And another one that I built.
  14. Here's what I did with mine, using the Chevy Titan kit.
  15. Hessel, nice work. Will you be offering these for sale?
  16. Dave offers the daycab version as well. The one pictured here looks like the one from Aussie Resin. Dave's kit also includes his usual goodie package--mirrors,exhaust, air intake, wipers, steering wheel & column, etc.
  17. Jim--check with Dave at AITM. He was casting a Ford W cab for a friend and he might still sell them. I have one myself. It is just the cab, interior tub, and dash. If he adds it to his lineup, I'm sure he will add more components for it.

  19. If you think the mixer was funny, wait until Mary Kay gets built for another "pick on Jerry" person. I haven't started on it, but I know the colors already.
  20. Thanks Anthony. The Mack is dubbed "Barney's Revenge and the mixer was built for ??? due to the fact of picking on me for using purple. I then told him I would build something "just for him" in purple with pink polka dots. The Chevy was done "just to do it" and the Western Star is pretty much stock. So, with that in mind, careful who you pick on---you may get a truck built just for you!!!!
  21. I might have one or 2 purple trucks........................ haven't quite got the posting pics down yet over here.
  22. Drop me an email to the store when you sign up--forum members get a discount. Once you sign up, I will add the discount to your account--but wait before you order.
  23. I know someone that sold his sealed Rubber Duck kit on ebay and got an unbelievable $800.00 + for it.
  24. I know the feeling......all these decals and no time to build for me.
