  1. Started with the W925 kit, added the Plaskit hood, rims & tires from Mo'Aluminum, and dropped in a Detroit.
  2. Well done once again Tim. Your attention to detail is unbelievable!!!
  3. You still get my vote---just don't ask which one comes in first.
  4. Thanks for the pics Kurt. Did you bring home any awards? Lots of tough calls.
  5. they are part of the CL9000 kit, and for the donor I used one of the Western Star frames, although they recommend the FLD. (I believe it is so all the frame mounted resin parts will match to the proper frame holes.)
  6. Here's the finished pics.
  7. Another find build from the Timbilt factory!!!!
  8. a small update..........
  9. I couldn't wait....had to get started on it..........many of you know exactly what I'm talking about!!!! Started with the engine....easy enuff... on to the chassis and cab........... and here's a shot with the engine in the frame
  10. Take a look here........... http://sourkrautsmodeltrucks.com/?page_id=3 or here http://www.aitruckmodels.com/pages/kitsparts.html I've ordered from both of these guys and I give them both thumbs up.
  11. Great job Kurt. You should consider having the 'rack cast for us "less talented" builders like me.
  12. Impressive. After seeing this done, makes my want to hang up my glue and start knitting.
  13. you ought to make a master and start casting it. I'm sure I'm not the only one that would be interested in one. It looks great.
  14. Another great job Tim!!!!
  15. Looks good so far.
  16. I agree---I'm watching this one.
  17. This one came from Bobby Griffin, but I'm not sure if he's casting anymore. I got this from another builder.
  18. Dave, Check out Hobby Lobby for the 377 kits, but beware---I notice they've gone up $5 on their truck kits.
  19. Bill -- the kit is pretty much box stock with the exception of the air ride and rims. The air ride I got from another builder and may not be correct for this truck, but that's what I had in the parts box. The rims came from the old Ertl Volvo kit.
  20. Groovy dude! I like it any way you do it.
