I like your style!!!! I was going to say the VW bus was my favorite, then the '51 Chevy but, what the heck.... they are all my favorites!!!!
  3. Agreed but, looks good and you definately have something different.
  4. Thanks Dan, you were right they were in the '56 Ford box just like you said. I didn't have the '37 pickup, only had the '37 panel and didn't find them there John, thanks to you also The AMT '56 Ford kit has a nice set of baby moons.
  5. Maybe I should take vw out of my user name?
  6. You did another one proud Manny! I think this one deserves a decent burial. I love it!!!!
  7. Does anyone know which 1/25 kits may have the small Baby Moon hubcaps? I hate to raid my stash for these untill I know for sure. Thanks
  8. It looks right!!! Color is perfect. This is one of my favorite kits to build also.
  9. I'm not seeing any image, only a little box with a red X. Oh what the heck......REAL.
  10. I like this one Bryan! That interior is killer with all the details. I think I reconise the steering wheel as a '58 Impala. I've always loved these old Chevys and still have never built one, maybe you will be an inspiration for me. I think green is becoming the new red for hot rods. Love your choices so far! Your digging out an old project like this has got me wondering, how many do I have? I'll have to get the calculator out.
  11. I always get to the point in a build where I realise, this is not going to be a show winner nor will it most likely ever see a show table, then I just finish it for fun and go on to the next one. I don't like to redo my own models, although I may sometimes add new detail later as my skills get better. I personally like box stock sometimes the best, if I could only do one. It's nice to have this Forum to post pictures and get comments, otherwise some models might just sit on the shelf and never get looked at. I like to see them at all skill levels built by others. I say just have fun and share it here.
  12. I like it more all the time!
  13. Yes this is the first I have seen posted here and who better to get it right then someone from the UK. Nice job Mark!
  14. Nice! I like the detail on your engine and chassis. Nice job on the black paint also.
  15. Photos? Yes! Please!!!!
  16. Nice Job! I really like your two tone. The wheels look great. You are teasing us with the photo of the engine, it looks good from a distance.
  17. Nice job, you did it justice!
  18. I like your paint so far. Chassis will pop under there!
  19. It looks perfect!!!! Enter this one under; Why didn't I think of this? So simple and so right, a good look!
  20. I'm going to l0ve this one!!!
  21. Bench is a mess today. Went to a car show, now I've got to get back to work on the Dune Buggy! Oh and I saw a Thing today at the show!
  22. I built the Orange Crate as a kid when I was about 12. As I remember, It was my 1st success with a Revell kit. (I had trouble with the '55 Chevy, the '41 Willys and the '56 Chevy. I remember the Orange Crate was molded in orange which made it easy to paint a thin coat of orange paint without runs! I loved the decals also. The only problem I remember was the chrome. Revell had some weird chrome in those days, it was kind of a clear color under the chrome and glue did weird things to it. I have the new issue now and a lot better skills, I hope mine comes out as good as this one. This kit is a classic if built right!
  23. I hope to see this at a local show some day as I only live a few miles from you. It would make a great memorial to your Dad and Grandpa.
  24. Hey it's "Under Glass" woopie!!!! Congratulations! The engine really did turn out great and the seats wake up the interior for sure. Success!!!!
