  1. A lot of style! I like!
  2. That built up real well! Didn't Lumpy have one of these in "Leave It To Beaver" ? I love the dog!
  3. Yes, another vote to get one in 1/24 or 1/25 scale. I don't normally build larger scales but, may have to get one of these. The smaller scale would probably cost just as much if it ever is released, does that help make the 1/16 sound more like a bargain?
  4. Thanks again!

    56 chevy

I agree it's a great kit, nice job on yours!
  6. Nice Collection!
  7. I think I just time traveled back to 1970. Nice Show!!!
  8. Cool!
  9. I was trying to figure out if those were fuel tanks or headlights. Fuel tanks, right? It looks like a nice start or is it finished? Anyway I like it and I'll be watching.
  10. I like the way it came out after seeing this under "Workbench" a while back. I wouldn't have noticed the headlights if Cobraman hadn't pointed them out. Love the pickup body and the low to the ground!
  11. I would be interested in buying it if it wasn't so far gone! You know someone will have to build a shiny one now don't you? I love it.
  12. No apologies, it would look a lot better if you put her in it!
  13. Beautiful! Your friend is lucky to have you for a friend!
  14. We got hit twice in one month over 40 years ago and I never have fully recovered, sorry to say.
  15. It looks good in red and Shiny Rules on this one!!!
  16. What he said X 2, every word speaks to me. I love it.
  17. Thanks guys, enjoyed all the comments today.
  18. I don't know if you've got all the wireing correct but, it looks convincing enough. That Cobra is going to be Awesome! You need to finish it for that Shelby Tribute thread. Bryan, I think you have as many on the back burner as me!
  19. I love the weathering, it looks like you've got that down. Glad to see the photos loaded for you. Welcome back!
  20. Alright that took a minute to realise it's a Hudson, thought it was another Merc. Guess it would help if I took time to read! I love the grill and headlight treatment. That is going to make a cool looking sled!
  21. Thanks guys, it's nice spending my day here with you!
  22. I look at it as a kind of Counter Culture, it kind of goes with the Rockabilly theme. I like it a lot and wish I could be part of it. Sometimes it might go too far for us old foggies. I think of "Rebel Without a Cause." It's kind of a biker bunch on 4 wheels! It's all of these things and maybe a guy just can't afford a $5000 and up paint job. These type cars show a lot of creativity often times, I would just watch out for the sharp pointy things. You could build an expensive hot rod and put too many sharp pointy things on it for that matter. I love this subject!
  23. OK I had to do it, Happy Birthday me! Home alone for lunch today, 62 years young. I'll never grow up!

    '57 Chevys

These are old builds, I haven't posted any pictures in a while maybe because I haven't finished anything! The Black Widow and the BelAir are part of a used car lot, therefore the window signs, both box stock. I never get tired of '57's so just thought I'd show mine. Nothing great under the hood. The third one is a Monogram 1/24 scale I tried to make look like my slot car. Thanks for looking, any comments welcome.
  25. Everything looks great so far! The shine on that body is awesome under the light!
