  1. I like this a lot! It looks very real and very functional. Nice job!
  2. I once owned a '40 Plymouth 2-door sedan and want to build a replica in 1/25 scale. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions for this? The grill is different from the '41 and not sure about bumpers and other details. Any resin available that anyone knows of would be of help. Thanks
  3. Got some Testors Mystic Emerald Lacquer on it. I'm kind of going for the look in the book, loosely.
  4. I'm excited and I didn't know about it's return untill now, thanks! I wish they would overhaul me. I guess you have to live in California to have a chance, and they are all always so surprised! If you did live near where the show is being filmed wouldn't you be just a little suspicious if your unfinished project got stolen? And there are always tears at the end including mine.
  5. I've always been a big fan of the show. I don't think it's so much about the bikes anymore. I wonder if what they are talking about rebuilding is their relationship with each other. I think if Rick joined forces with Junior's cast you would have the original crew, minus Senior. If I could pick one bike for them to re do it would be the Christmas bike, that thing is hideous. They have way too many sharp pointy things on most of their bikes. I will miss Mikey most of all in the new season unless, he makes a return.
  6. That Modified is looking good Eric! You guys know your stuff about these in the North Eastern US.
  7. I like both of the bodys, I was going to ask about the opening doors (like why the extra work?) and now it doesn't matter. The orange '69 is awesome! I love the Modifieds!
  8. Great!!! I would take a "49 Merc, a '62 Impala and a '50 Ford pickup from what I see. I can't believe we just went there tonight! Wish I would have known. Thanks for passing that on.
  9. Another beauty Doc! I love the shiny.
  10. You saved the best for last, I love the Crown Vic! All nice builds, thanks for sharing.
  11. I just received the mag in the mail today and have already turned to your page at least three times. Congrats again, I now feel some how connected to you. I would be proud to have one of my models in any mag just once!
  12. My mess, working on AMT '32 Roadsters.
  13. I don't know how I missed it back in February but, glad I got a chance to see it today. Really cool!
  14. I agree these are all tough kits to build and make look good but, you did it on all three, congratulations!
  15. I love your paint job on this one! I also love the duel quads and the wheels. Good job and welcome back after 30 years, wow!
  16. Any chance of getting some more shots of the pickup utility conversion? It looks prety cool in the background!
  17. Nice finish! I enjoyed watching your build. I love everything about it!
  18. Congratulations on getting it in the magazine! Nice and shiny! You are a lucky guy to have a wife who shares in your hobby and takes excellent photos.
  19. Shot some primer on it today, I can already tell it needs a little more body work.
  20. Nice job! I love the details and the items in the bed. Nice job on the engine and the Chevrolet emblem on the hood looks perfect. Thanks for posting, you made me smile.
  21. I always love to see another Flathead Ford engine! I love the picture of the rear showing the tailights and the exhaust pipes, very cool!
  22. It looks like a Fun Buggy to me. Very creative!
  23. Very nice! First time for me also. It looks a lot like the VW Thing imported in the US in 1973 and 1974. I once owned an orange one and it was a fun ride. Nice job on the detail work on yours.
  24. I love the old T kits and was overwhelmed with excitement when AMT or Round Two brought them back I always like to see a different take on the stock build and for me, on yours it's the way you painted the wood underneath. They are a fun quick build and a timeless kit.
