  1. Thanks for all the comments. I agree the PYRO kit is not that great. It has no inner fender wells and the area behind the back seat goes through to the tires. An expert modeler could probably do wonders with this kit. It was well worth the money just for the two little men included. It also came with some vintage luggage. What's with the bullet holes? On my 1:1 I had a little chip on the door that became a small rust hole. I put a bullet hole decal on it and kind of liked the look so, had to do it! Here's another picture of the other side.
  2. Beautiful! Nice paint work and engine detail. Love the '49 also!
  3. Anyone ever heard of PYRO? I picked this one up at Indy last week end for $15. The box says 1/25 scale but, it's more like 1/23. The sides of the car were separate pieces with the interior engraved inside. It did come with two mechanics. I painted it Testors flat red with clear over slight weathering. Lowered the stance. I'm pleased with the result for a quick build which is what I needed. Comments welcome, thanks for looking.
  4. Nice job on a great old school kit.

  6. I love your progress, the frame rails look great! You are taking this kit way beyond it's beginnings. I like the white walls and Moons, am I the only one? Can't wait to see your front suspension!
  7. Real Model on the table, real background. The golf carts do look a little large.
  8. I like where your's is going Ace-Garage Guy! Nice work on the chassis. I'm trying to get the front end lowered on mine, any suggestions? I started making a brass tube axel but, I don't know if this is allowed. Any help will be appreciated.

  20. Great idea I love it! The little Trophy cars are a great idea also! The little Nick looks in scale, would you mind sharing where he was sourced from? (Please don't say the North Pole ) Not too early at all on a project like this, who has time once the season starts anyway?
  21. Retired!!! Worked as newspaper Mailer 30 years, worked as mall cop 4 years, golf coarse mechanic one year.
  22. That would be awesome! I know they did a deal with McDonalds once and had some smaller Barbies in Happy Meals but, I don't know what scale. Of course we would need Ken the mechanic also.
