My favourite parts are the fenderwell headers and the velocity stacks! You gave this one a lot of love. This kit is just not on my fav. list at all. I think you are ready to step it up to one of the newer versions. I do love '55 Chevys!

Thanks Dave, I wasn't aware the Golf had been around that long. I bought a new Super Beetle in '74 and something didn't line up for me. My bad. Nice model none the less, didn't mean to take from that.

Did you mean to say 1984? I love it, just don't remember a VW Golf in '74. We had a new Rabbit in '81, the US version.

The AMT '32 roadster dates back to the early '60s but, has been reissued several times. Mine is a 1998 version of the kit. Here are two versions on my shelf.

Thanks Bill, I got the idea for the frame after cutting off the front fenders. These old AMT kits leave a lot to be desired but, still an awful lot of fun and remain on my favorite list. The ingraving is really heavy in places and the body appears to be already sectioned. I wish it had a dropped axel also. The revell kits are seriously more realistic.

I forgot to mention this one. I had four of them and this is the only survivor so far. I don't know if it will ever make it to the bench.

You asked for it! And I would add to that the first kit I ever built a '60 Edsel which I no longer have. These are the survivors.

I only see one Ford which is my fav. Nice job on all the rest also. The little man adds to the presentation, I love it! It's hard to believe how small these models are at first glance.

You have more paint then my LHS! I also like the spoon collection. Nothing like a well equipped shop!
