  1. Very nice! Some nice details for sure! More, more, more!
  2. Nice improvements! I really like the opened cowl with screen idea and the doors open much better. Great job on paint and the lowered stance is excellent. I'm a fan of the original flathead but, the SBC is much more common in the hot rod world. Nice job overall, I love it!
  3. Your paint work is superb!
  4. I've been waiting to see this. I was talking to a friend about doing one of these earlier today. Nice job on the lettering. I wouldn't change a thing.
  5. Test fit of body.
  6. I'm saying REAL on this one and probably in a museum judgeing from the background.
  7. Too funny guys and thanks! Now back to the build (not really). This is where the original frame and other parts went so many years ago. I salvaged this one a few years back and recently added the wheels and tires. I probably have built the "T"s at least six times. I always had that left over body for some odd reason (the one I'm working on).
  8. I Like it a lot! Nice looking hot rod, just one thing, I have to say it....ahh never mind, I'm sure you already know. You had me at "no wires or after market stuff."
  9. I love everything about it! Nice job on the bmf, I couldn't tell and that's a compliment!
  10. Here's a picture of my daughter jumping out of an airplane yesterday. It has nothing to do with this build but, just threw it in for fun, from a proud Dad.
  11. Here's another shot of the Buick Nailhead and a shifter boot I made, still need a shifter knob.
  12. On my old body the cut outs on the bottom may or may not be original. I don't remember ever cutting them but, who know's?
  13. Thanks for the comments! Now for some more fun. With all the interest in the firewall, I opened another new '25 Model T kit to show the new tool against the old. You will notice huge injector pin marks on the old casting, I removed them in the third photo. This may be why they cleaned up the original casting.
  14. The engine is a Buick Nailhead. I think it came in one of the AMT '40 fords. I made some home made headers for it today, hope I got 'em right. I think I got the carbs on backword. Oh well it's just for fun and I'm having loads of it! More to come.
  15. This is the frame I came up with. I used a '40 ford axel from my parts box and the rear end from a '50 Chevy pickup.
  16. I'm having too much fun with this one not to share. I've had this body since 1962. I painted it silver when I was a kid. I decided to use it to practice on with weathering powder a while back. I liked the way it came out so I decided to build a frame for it. About that time the original kit was reissued. I went ahead and made my frame from evergreen strips copying the repop the best I could. If you look close on mine at the firewall you will see the original ingraving with wires and such. They were cleaned off on the reissue.
  17. Awesome link! I've been following on Facebook for a while. Good free stuff!
  18. Thanks Ray, I might get back to it and add some wires and generator bracket, fuel lines, etc. It's an oldie I've had for years. I just painted the wheels and added whitewalls, thought someone might enjoy.
  19. Nice!!!
  20. I like them all, thanks for sharing.
  21. This one might be finished (no wires on engine) I don't know.
  22. Another fine mess, has it been a whole week?
  23. Nice thread! I love the five fives!
  24. Nice! I might give it a go and try to make some of these. Thanks for the tip.
  25. That is sweet! I love the soft top from every angle, is that a kit part? Love the stance also. Nice model!
