    69 chevy nova

Nice job Daniel! Welcome to the forum.
  4. A friend of mine got a 1960 Ford promo when his dad bought a new 1:1 one in 1960. That's how I first got interersted in building model cars instead of airplanes. We went to the dime store together where I bought a 1960 Edsel for $1.25 I think, with pop bottle money. We rode our Schwinns around finding pop bottles along the street. I think the bottles were worth 1 cent each or 10 cents for a six pack in the carboard carton. How's that for a Grandpa story?
  5. It looks like a show winner, I love it! I want the 1:1 version.
  6. Nice work, I like all of them. Thanks for sharing.
  7. I love your model and great story too!
  8. Nice job!!! Love the Nailhead and the green paint,
  9. I actually have 10 started right now, I guess you could say every one got derailed. I'm retired so, lot's of time. I do get the two Grandkids once or twice a week so not much building goes on then.
  10. Nice job! I like the open cowl, nice touch!
  11. One every two weeks untill I get derailed every once in a while, My goal is 24 a year. Actually I have 15 this year so far.
  12. Awesome! I love the chrome wheels and the engine. Nice looking "Shine Runner" and yes I do remember your Delivery which was awesome as well. Keep 'em coming!
  13. Nice!!! This is now my favorite build of this kit, I love what you did with it!

    VW Beetle

    Cool! It came out great!
  15. Thanks, Ace Garage Guy for the tips on the front axel. I tried to use part of your idea useing the '40 Ford axel. I'm not sure it lowered the front end much. Yours is pretty extreme, and I love it!!! Wish I had your kind of skills. Here's a shot of mine. Also starting a Phaeton.
  16. Please do!!! Welcome!!!
  17. Nice job on the bed and chains! I'm almost sorry to here about your deadline for the show, you have been putting on a clinic. If Doctor Cranky can learn anything from this build I would consider it a huge success, after all he is the master of '50 Chevy pickups...Congratulations on a great build and good luck at the show.
  18. I love it!!!!! What everyone else said, nice attention to detail. I love all the extra bracing inside trunk, fenders. the front screen and bacicly everything.
  19. Nice job on a stock build. I found the same issue centering the front wheels on this kit. You ned to build the Revell '50 Ford pickup now, it is sweet.
  20. IKEA Billy book cases with extra glass shelfs and glass doors, about $150. I just counted 62 models in one unit. I have 5 units on one wall in my garage, not all filled yet. I think they work best in white. I also am lucky enough to have a heated garage, and I practically live in the garage.
  21. Nice job on the weathering. I like the wood in the bed also. It looks just like a truck I owned back in 1973, I paid $100 for it. Those days are gone!

    VW500S

  23. Thanks again for all the comments and another shot of it as it leaves the scene.
