  1. I love the EMPI box in the back seat, nice touch! The model came out great!
  2. Cool idea! I've never seen this done, it looks like fun.
  3. I have this kit in my stash and the only thing keeping me from building it is the fact that's it's 1/24 scale and I like to build 1/25th. There is a slight difference when you start swaping parts if that matters to you. I like the box art.

    Drop test!

Congrats on passing your test, as for the model it looks like it may have passed the crash test too! I think the vote for putting it back stock wins.
  5. That's what I'm talkin bout!!! Those wheels look righteous!!!!!!!!
  6. Nice looking model!
  7. Here's what I'm working on today. I started my first community build on the AMT '32 Roadster Pro Shop 3 in 1 kit. This is as clean as the bench ever gets.
  8. Let's get this started! I'm doing a '32 Roadster. I did a little sanding and mock up so far
  9. Wow! That's a new look for me, got to give you credit for "dare to be different"'. I like that green with the black wheels and tires. And a Corvair engine? That's kind of cool.
  10. OK I thought it was a typeing error and you meant '55 Cameo, now this is really cool! Nice conversion and custom touches. I like!
  11. I don't know how I missed this one but, it's AWESOME!!!
  12. It looks excellent for a first model! I used a whole tube of glue on my first and ruined the windshield. You are a good Dad for helping him! Nice job!
  13. As I have previously stated, the AMT '32s are some of my all time favorites. Here are a few old glue bombs I won't be useing, I will start with two fresh ones. Oh, and I love the Revell and Monogram '32s also.
  14. You are making this look so real I can't believe my eyes, excellent work so far, best I've seen on this truck ever!
  15. Dave, that winshield and roll bar came out AWESOME!!! I also love the exhaust opening. Someone is going to get one heck of a model to display.
  16. I've never done a community build before, so hope I don't screw this one up. I thought about doing Doctor Cranky's " Zombie Hunter" but, my idea was pretty lame, and there is still time I guess! I think I will try this one first, plus I like the simplicity of the old AMT kits. I know it's just for fun but, I hope I got the rules right. I'm in if it's OK to accept a beginner. And also when to post pictures and how many? I've noticed the detail guys go to on "Workbench" forum, is that what you are looking for?
  17. Thanks guys, I'm trying to decide weather to post the wrecker separate, after all it is more or less a Snap-Kit with very little detail. I've got plans to use more decals on it and take more pictures of the interior etc. I think it looks good on the shelf and if I ever get a hold of the Texaco decals for my "Joe's Power Plus" station. (it was suppose to be a Texaco when I ordered it). I'm thinking diorama maybe.
  18. AMT '32 Fords AMT '40 Fords AMT '49 Fords Lindberg '34 Pickup AMT '49 Merc. AMT '57 T Bird AMT '50 Chevy Pickup AMT '53 Ford Pickup Monogram '37 Ford Moebius Hudsons I can't stop, OK, noticed I cheated a little by adding a plural on some. Honerable mentions, why not? Revell '57 Black Widow, Revell '49 Merc., Revell '56 Chevy, AMT '55 Chevy, AMT '25 Model T sssssssssss. OK you get the point, this is too hard!!!
  19. WOW!!! Nice! Some great ideas on this one, you've got my attention!
  20. The pair of them together. I got ahold of some resin oil cans and jack stands in the back of the '50, still need paint and some little Texaco decals.
  21. Here's what I did with some of the left over decals from the '50.
  22. It looks like I might be doing one of these.
  23. Now that's really old school! Get out the fuzzy fur!!!
