  1. Nice dio Manny! Didn't Know they were yours till now. You are dedicated to RUST my man!
  2. I love the profile! It looks like a Chip Foose design to me. I like the wheels also. Very nice!
  3. Nice, clean look to this one Jim. I love the color and the interior is sweet!
  4. I would call it "Dream Garage" Dave.
  5. Nice job James on a beautiful pickup!
  6. Nice job! One of these days I will attempt to build one of these.
  7. Neat job on the frame! Can't wait to see more.
  8. I've always loved the old Ford pickups. Nice choice on color.Looks Good!
  9. They always say anything is restorable with enough time and money. Lol. You are the master at doing these Manny!
  10. It looks very nice and clean. I know what you mean, my grandpa had a new '59 Dodge. It was two tone green and kind of the same "grandparent" look. Lol. Nice job Douglas!
  11. Sorry about that David, yeah you're right. These old eyes aren't seeing like they use to. Now I will eat my shoe. Honestly it looks better to me all the time. The hoses look right on the money. Now I'm noticeing the return spring on the carb, the neat job on the distributor and wire looms, alternator bracket and I realise you are just getting started. Please pardon me and I will cotinue to watch this build with interest.
  12. David, I might be wrong but, I think you have the heater hose going where the radiator hose goes on top of the engine. Just thought I would point that out before you get too far. The paint and engine detail look great other than that. I love the color!
  13. I keep coming back to this one. I'm gonna have to use that "Grumpa" on one of my builds. Lol. Love it!
  14. Looking good Bernard! That's probably a good decision to hold off on paint till all the fabrication is complete. I have rushed into paint too often. Nice progress and thinking ahead. Keep the pictures coming please!
  15. You have some nice projects going on Shane! The '57 Ford is always one of my favs. I'm still looking for the Nova along with Tracy Doc!
  16. "Big Daddy" Ed Roth had a big influence on me in the beginning. I remember drawing his monsters in some of my note books and on white "T" shirts with felt markers and wearing them proudly. He seemed like the king of model cars in the '60s although, I had a little trouble with most of the Revell kits of the time. Never could figure out why there was more than one guy known as "Big Daddy". Lol. Now a days I would put Doctor Cranky in that catagory. The Forum is a way bigger influence with all the help you can achieve here. All the new guys that show up here bring something special. Thanks to you all, and happy modeling!
  17. Thanks Bill, I appreciate your comments. I'm beginning to really like Dupli Color paints, they are so easy to use. I might get some dirt on the next one. Lol.
  18. Glad to see one of these show up here Patrick, yours turned out nice. I've got to get one. I remember really wanting a 1:1 version back in 1970. A local guy built them at a Sunoco station where I hung out. I remember how the chassis had to be shortened to work. I would have traded my '69 Nova for one if I had a safe place to put the buggy away at night.
  19. Nice job on opening everything up! I think this is going to be another one to watch. Looking forward to progress.
  20. Out of box does not always mean "Factory Stock". I like it! I'm about 50/50 on OOB with what I build right now. Nice job on yours Roberto !
