  1. Yes I like and very nice photos.
  2. Nice, nohing wrong with the pictures, you are too modest.
  3. Very nice Richard. I love the wheel/tire combo. The photos really bring it to life.
  4. Nice job on the wood.
  5. Thanks Harry and to everyone else a sincere thanks also.
  6. Thanks for all the help. I think this is probably the best I am going to get. This is in marco, about 8 inches in full Sun. If I try to zoom in it goes out of focus. I will just have to do my engine shots this way until I get a new camera. I love the close-ups some of you guys get!
  7. Thanks guys. Here's a couple new close ups I just took. A little better of the engine. Thanks again for looking. Some more rust up close.
  8. Thanks for the help. The minimum distance may be my problem. I think my minimum might be around 8 inches in the marco setting. Check out these pictures. The first one was taken outside under full Sun.The second one was taken just now in doors under artificial light at about 8 inches in the marco setting. I will have to try this outside.
  9. I have not had much success with the marco setting on my camera. I wish I had the manual but, this is a case where you get what you pay for maybe. The camera was $5 at a garage sale. This should tell you it was old technology already when I got it. I am wondering now if my problem has something to do with the minimum distance. Or maybe lighting? My best close-up to date was taken oudoors in the full Sun. It was so bright out I couldn't even see through the camera and had to guess at the aim, just got lucky maybe?
  10. Guilty. I have tried the best I can to get all of my photos in focus with my Sony Cyber-shot with 3.2 pixels (whatever that means), digital camera. I can not get close-ups of engines to save myself, sorry. I have tried to take and retake shots and usually just post my best. I figure it's better than nothing but, maybe not. I do appreciate some of the photography on this site and only wish I could do the same, as also applys to some of the skill level of the models I see. I have seen worse than what I do but, I figure everyone is at their own current skill level and looking for help here to improve their own skills.
  11. Too Cool! I love it. Can't get enough Hudsons.
  12. Nice job on the rust, it looks real! I also love all the extra details like the rear window display and the plate.
  13. Bill, No apologies needed except by me for hijacking your thread. Just couldn't keep my mouth shut. Sorry. I will say your engine is very interesting, I like what you have done there. I've always been a huge fan of the Ford flatheads. The photos are great too. I really like the interior ones. I like everything about your model, really!
  14. Really should be called a 6-window having two seperate pieces of glass in the rear it would seem.. Bill, I'm just a little interested because, I have owned two 1:1 '37 Fords and never heard of a 3-window. Although the Australian '37 Ford Ute might be the exception.
  15. I love everything about it Bill. Just one thing, technically speaking I think this would be called a 5-window.
  16. Very Cool! Nice work, I Love it!!!
  17. This is one I bought for $100 just to haul junk in. There is a little problem with the right rear in the photos I see and I missed a couple of sink marks inside the bed. Oh well, all in all it was a fun build. I might add some chains later, just had to take some quick photos of a 4-day build I started Friday. Thanks for looking. I now have 11 previous owned rides in 1/25 scale, my goal is to build as many as I can.
  18. Watch AmeriCarna episode:2 for full restoration of No,777 Plymouth Belvedere.
  19. Welcome Dan. Good reason to get back into the hobby. It's a great way to pass time, I've been doing it since retirement and don't know what I would do without it.
  20. DVR was set up to record two other shows by my Wife, missed the race completely, first time in about 33 years. Congrats to Jr. I will just have to watch a replay.
  21. It looks good Tulio, especially from a Ford Guy. I can't believe the nice job you did on the foil. I, like you, have only one Mopar in my collection a '41 Plymouth.
  22. Thanks for showing the entire family. Looking Good!
  23. Yeah John, I know what you mean about the size, especially if you normally build 1:25 like me. I think I have room for two maybe. The Big Tub is pretty cool also, maybe it should go on my wish list. My photos always have surprizes for me. lol
