  1. What a beauty, Nice!
  2. Nice job! Love the photos.
  3. Nice job Jim, just plain and simple, I love it! I love the textured interior.
  4. Very cool Randy. The best kind of build in my opinion. Nice job.
  5. Nice job Rob, congrats on the trophy.
  6. Nice job Tom, I love the color. Made me smile.
  7. I recently purchased an AMT kit like one I built as a kid and paid just over $100, it was originally $1.39 in 1960. After doing an ebay search for well over a year I received a notice they had found one so, I bid my max bid $107 and won for $102! I was excited!! When I received it in a few days I was more excited!!! Every time I look at it I receive instant enjoyment. I just received another notice from ebay they have found another of the same kit. I looked and the bid was already $200. I am more excited!!!!! I played the waiting game for one year and acted just in time I think. Will Round 2 ever issue a 1960 Edsel? I doubt it, if they do I will gladly pay the $25 or so. This was my first model purchase on ebay. It's not about money for me it's about happiness. I would prefer the 1:1 scale cars but, that would be about money. I think I would continue to build models even if I didn't have money. This one was built from paper and brought me a lot of enjoyment at the time. It's on the shelf beside all my others as a reminder. Isn't this a wonderful hobby?
  8. Nicely done, and great lesson on how to build an authenic looking stock car racer. I wasn't aware they ran exhaust through the tailights but, what a neat trick and looks really cool too. I have this kit waiting on the shelf and may use some of your tips, thanks. Awesome job!
  9. Nice job Michael, I like it very much.
  10. You are doing some awesome work on these cars! I love your track display also. Also love the Firestone's. Nice job Jim.
  11. If I could figure a way to change the J to R and E to N on the original design I would. The troube would be making the change on all the decals. The guy who started this thread is named Joe, which I think is cool for him.
  12. Nice job Harry. I would love to see inside your scale upholstery shop, you do some awesome work.
  13. It looks real! I love it!
  14. I ordered the Texaco kit from my local hobby store and recieved the Joe's Plus instead to my disapointment. I am building it slowly after about two years adding home made Texaco decals along with some of Joe's decals. Only two walls come in the kit FYI. If my name was Joe I would love it!
  15. Like others have said, the box goes in the trash after I build what's in it. I do prefer white plastic.
  16. Nice collection Tulio, good to see them all a once. I was hoping you would do this some day. You don't have them in every color yet!
  17. It looks like the perfect Volksrod except they usually have an extended front beam. I like it. At least it didn't cost the price it would on a real one. I have changed directions on my 1:1 so many times my garage looks like a parts store for VWs.
  18. Beautiful job on another Tulio. Grandpa had good taste.
  19. First time I got fooled today! Nice job on an old build and one of my all time favorites, the old AMT '57 with chrome rearend and all. You have always done excellent work on your models Tulio. Thanks for sharing.
  20. Nice job Bruce, looks good.
