  1. Thanks for all the background on the kit Tom. If I had the entire kit I probably would have built it stock. I'm just going to try to have a little fun with this one and not get too fussy about it. That's what the Doctor ordered.
  2. The paint caught my eye first of all and I appreciate the effort, personally I think it works on this one. Also like the Olds headlights and tail light treatment. I prefer stock on the Hudson but, that's just me. I always thought it looked custom already. Nice job Jim.
  3. I need a bird nest for one of the carbs.
  4. Okay, I'm going the rust route. It's an old forgotten drag racer. I got a little frustrated with the opening doors and decided to go this route. And I think I needed a quick build to get my spirits back up. Still a little more work to do on collecting junk for it. Thanks for looking.
  5. Brett, I got the two-tone fixed, thanks. It bothered me too much. Also got the glue off the paint thanks to a tip from Gregg, ( MCM issue173, page 18, although no clear used ). I made a mechanics fender cover just in case but, don't think I really need it, I kind of like it though.
  6. Got the skull shiftier installed an working on a few other things. Also made new windshield, I thought the kit one was too thick.
  7. Got the engine installed in the MADMAN '55, still need to hook up a few wires and hoses.
  8. It looks like you studied this one a while to get all the rust and paint chips in all the right places. Awesome job! All the weathering is perfect and the photos too. I love the leaves and the tiny walnuts or what ever that is in the bed. The radio wires can't go without mentioning. Forget about the real ones!!!....You'll never have this much fun at this price. Love it!!!
  9. These stainless hubcaps must be extremely rare, I searched swap meets for years just hoping to find one, I had three good ones on my '37 Ford and one not so good. Finally I purchased four matching like the ones with the black. The black part was steel and would rust over time.
  10. Nice job on the bench! You are making this look so real I can't believe my eyes.
  11. Nice rust it looks real.

Nice! That looks like a lot of sheet metal in the rear done this way. I love the look, long and low.
