Yes that does build up nice OOB!!! Now I know which direction to go on mine, thanks. I love the color on it also, nice job Lenny.
  2. The reflection off the paint is awesome the way it changes colors in the light. What a shine!!! Your lines are really crisp also and I love the model. Nice job!
  3. Model, I think, maybe. We will know tomorrow!!!!!!!!!
  4. Maybe I'm going a little MAD with these photos but, bare with me just two more. I just love using this lacquer thinner with Testors enamels, it drys like lacquer and glosses like enamel. And I was able to touch it within an hour and match the body to the frame without harming the finish. The paint seems to be glossing over even more as time goes by. Sounds like I'm trying to sell the stuff.
  5. Welcome Jens, Very impressed with your '69 Yenko, that was not an easy conversion from the '72 AMT kit. Nice work on all the rest also.
  6. Thanks G, always wondered about that.
  7. Wow nice clean build! I love the detail on the engine. The decals look great!!!
  8. Nice one, it's a classic! I love the colors.
  9. Seems I can never wait for the paint to dry, maybe I am a MADMAN!!!! Now to go clean my airbrush. It's Testors yellow with just a splash of orange mixed 2 parts paint one part cheap lacquer thinner. Thanks for looking, please leave comments.

  11. I could only guess what AMT stands for. A model toy maybe?
  12. You might want to add some wheelie bars. I love it!

  14. Beautiful paint, did you just hear an echo? This one is gonna turn out great, I love everything about it.
  15. Thanks, Ace- Garageguy, I was beginning to think I was all alone here. You have the most awesome '32 going that I have seen on here. I had noticed it on your own thread a while back and just assumed it was finished and I missed it. Good to have you back!
  16. Nice tip Carl, I'll have to remember that for the next one, thanks.
  17. The interior is looking good! Were the knobs on the shifter and turn signal handles white or did you take liberty? I didn't know, also would love to see the front of your dash, I wasn't sure how to handle that on mine. Nice work so far.
  18. It turned out really nice, your client should be happy. Nice pictures too!
  19. This is too cool! That's what I liked about the '50's. Also put me down for one vote on Harry's pick the Zephyr, If you have never seen one of these up close and you are a fan of the fat fender Fords, you will fall in love.
  20. Thanks Derick, not sure what IMHO cars were but, I always loved these old AMT kits.
  21. Thanks Jon and Dave, also Brett and good luck on yours I'm sure they will turn out fine and I can't wait to see them. Thanks for all your help so far and now, I may just have to do a little more paint work after reading your post. I still haven't dealt with the glue mess I made either.
  22. Thanks Brett, I think I see what you are saying on the break at the door. I wasn't clear on that when I foiled over it. Thanks to you other guys for your comments also.
