  1. Yes, the C500 grill is shorter that the W900. Also, the C500 has straight frame rails as opposed to the W900 that has the "dip" in the front.
  2. Since you asked, I'll give you my opinion. I'd go with the Gloss Real Orange & the Gloss Deep Blue.
  3. You mean this one: http://public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thscale/model_magazine_articles/car_modeller/cm40_nov_1996_conve/
  4. Very nice. I like the Millennium Falcon. Well done on both.
  5. Looks like the same old Kenworth wrecker with blue decals instead of red/orange decals.
  6. That I did not know. The transom is looking nice, but I bet it is making you cross-eyed!
  7. That's more than the actual motorcycle I'm looking to buy! Does look like a nice kit, though.
  8. Excellent job! Looks like it's ready to haul them through Canada.
  9. Most people on the upper decks would try to get as high as possible on the hull (in your example go to starboard) and get away from the rigging. If there were any men in the rigging (working sails, fighting tops, etc.) they might jump, but you have to remember most sailors in the Days of Sail couldn't swim, so it was really a choice between two terrifying options: jump into the sea & drown, or stay with the ship & drown. Contemporary accounts say the Vasa sank like a brick (modern translation ), but since the water where she sank was only about 105ft deep, some of the upper masts were still above water so survivors clung to them or the floating debris. Out of a crew of 445, 30 men went down with the ship.
  10. Nice job so far on the stern gilding.
  11. Nice conversion to a C9000, Jesus. I like where this is going. An orange & blue Roadway tractor would be perfect for this conversion. Wonder where you can get the handtruck.
  12. Don't feel too bad, Jarda. We get that message here in the US a lot, too. As soon as the "Legal Beagles" find a video with their copyright they delete the video.
  13. Isn't the Subaru 1/24?
  14. Kenneth, if you don't have the skill set for the HMS Victory, then I can assure you that I definitely do not.
  15. Chuck, while the trailer is nice, I fail to see how it relaye
  16. Nicely done old workhorse.
  17. Thanks for the info, Kenneth. Maybe if I see one of these Airfix ship kits at a local show for a reasonable price I'll pick it up. The HMS Victory or Vasa would be a nice addition. We are planning a trip to Sweden in the not so distant future, and I'd like to get to the Vasamuseet while we're in Stockholm.
  18. Other that the warped hull, how is the rest of the kit? I've been wanting to try one of these Airfix kits for a while. How are they in general? As for your display idea, considering that how she sank on her maiden voyage in 1628, I'd say that's fitting as well.
  19. I bet he was surprised by the results. Probably a little disappointed as well.
  20. Nice looking Harleys. Looks like there is a lot of detail in the kits.
  21. This is all just so sad. And the original post showed such promise.
