  1. Picked up "The General" a little while ago myself. I just hope I can do it justice. Chessie System came about in 1973 after the merger of Chesapeake & Ohio, Baltimore & Ohio, & Western Maryland Railways. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chessie_System
  2. Nice job on the Panzer III. Yes, you have to be careful of those dessert adversaries!
  3. That's good news. Too bad they all say "Sold Out".
  4. Fantastic build. Looks pretty darn close to me. Well done.
  5. Interesting little car. I'd never heard of one before. Looks like Saturn wasn't the first car manufacturer to use plastic body panels. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Citro%C3%ABn_M%C3%A9hari
  6. Those are really neat!
  7. That's really nice. It looks better than some Freightliners I've seen in 1/25.
  8. I know you said "never mind", but these guys might be able to help: http://aeroscale.kitmaker.net/
  9. Oh, ok. From what I can see it looks like you have all Luftwaffe aircraft: Arado AR95 float plane, Focke-Wulf Fw 190 Würger, & Junkers Ju-87 Stuka. I don't recognize the multi-engine aircraft flying over the Warspite, but it might be a Junkers Ju-88.
  10. Nicely done. I like the original, too, but the resized one now has the action more compacted. Well done. I forget, but since these are Luftwaffe aircraft and not Regia Aeronautica aircraft I'm assuming that this is supposed to be Norway and not the Mediterranean?
  11. Yes, Beige is the correct color for the NTC-Series engines. Tamiya Buff XF57 is a close match.
  12. What kit is that from? Also, what do you get when you mix the 127 & 133 paints? I'm not familiar with Humbrol colors.
  13. This followed me home from Hobby Lobby: Guess I have to keep it!
  14. Maybe it was a White-Western Star thing?
  15. Fantastic looking Superliner, Dmitry. Weathering is spot on. Very well done.
  16. Another cool tram car. I agree with you about Berlin in 1943. Not much left.
  17. As a matter of fact, they did. It was called the Royale. I think they used the same cab as the Peterbilt 352, but I'm not sure. http://public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thscale/truck_brochures/diamond_reo/diamond-reo-royale/
  18. Good information on the tires, Håkan. Actually, I think AMT missed a "6" in their description. According to the Diamond-REO brochures that I have access to, the Model Number brakes down like this: C - Conventional 116 - 116" BBC 6 - Six wheels (each rear dual set counts a one wheel) 4 - four drive wheels D - Diesel F - front axle forward L - Lightweight (highway) So, an off-highway tri-drive with the same cab would be C-11686D-OH.
  19. Yes, it's made by Luberfiner and it's an oil filter. I've never seen them on gasoline engines, just diesels.
  20. These articles might help you get started: Air Lines http://public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thscale/model_magazine_articles/car_modeller/cm03_sept_1990_truc/ Caterpillar 3408 http://public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thscale/model_magazine_articles/car_modeller/cm04_nov_1990_cater/ Good luck with your project.
  21. That's a really neat tram. Never heard of a kit of one of those. Very well done. Did it come with any tracks?
