This is a great thread. I have just about everything to make 3950, but I do have one question: I have both the AMT Kenworth W900 kits (one with the spring suspension & one with the torsion bar). Does anyone know what type of suspension 3950 might have had? I would have to guess that for a fleet truck it would have the lightest, cheapest suspension that they could get. The spring suspension in the AMT Kenworth W900 kit s a 38000#, I believe.

Nicely done wrecker, although I think it's in the wrong section. The added details are very nice. Where did you get the motorcycles?

Those are some awesome looking California Hay Haulers, Clayton. We never see anything like that in New York. Where are they hauling the hay to? Are there just big hay farms in California, and they're just transporting it to some sort of distribution center? Or are these deliveries to individual horse farms?

Nice job. I wonder if those red crosses really helped it in not getting shot down. I'd think that fighters could see them (assuming they looked), but not so sure about AAA. Guess you have to do something.

The Ju-52 was used by just about everybody & their brother (38 countries, including the US). Will this be a Luftwaffe version or a Regia Aeronautica aircraft?

Really? I mean it's personal preference, but I'm more partial to the black one. That's not to say that I don't like the gray one, because I do. It's the only surviving link to my teenage building times in Miami. Is it gray? I always thought it was supposed to be silver. That's the color the plastic comes in. I just put the decals right onto the plastic. My plan is to rebuild this using the most recent reissue, and my "updated" skills. Should be interesting when they are posed together.
