It really looks awesome! How did you do the bug shield? One thing you might consider (although it might be too late for this build) is to put the marker lights where they belong on top of the headlight bucket instead of on that post. Just a thought.
No problem. Here's to hoping that there will be more 1/32 releases in the future. Maybe even some trailer wheels & tires for the tank trailer in the R600 kit. Would some 2, 5, & 10 hole wheels be asking for too much?
I was looking around the AITM Website, and I saw that Dave has a new 1/32 Mack R700 conversion for the Revell Mack R600 snap kit.
Prices are shown here: http://www.aitruckmodels.com/pages/hc32mackr700.html All of the parts are ordered separately.
Here's a completed one:
Maybe Dave will consider making more 1/32 parts for the other Revell 1/32 snap kits. Especially wheels & tires!
I only have the reissue & the Esci kits in the stash (I do have an original box, though). The wording on the original issue of the Aerodyne is "Detailed 8V-92T engine"
This should also be the engine in the GMC General & Chevrolet Bison (but it isn't) as thew 8V-92N was never offered by GMC or Chevrolet in the General or the Bison. On;y the 8V-92T.
Kurt, Sounds like your 8V92 valve covers are going to be popular! Brian, I thought the AMT Kenworth Aerodyne COE has an 8V71T in it? It looks similar to the 8V71 in the GMC Astro/95 & Chevrolet Titan/90 kit. The engine in the GMC General & Chevrolet Bison kits looks bigger.
Nicely done, Wayne. Yes, I definitely hear the theme music from Raiders of the Lost Ark! Didn't Tamiya make some 1/25 DAK soldiers? I think Preiser makes some 1/25 Wehrmacht soldiers as well.
I do not know if Italeri is planning on reissuing the VN670, but I wouldn't be surprised if the did, Italeri has been reissuing a lot of their truck kits, so the VN670 might be in the works. I might get one if they do.
Two trucks in one box? That's a great price. I've been wanting to try my hand at these 1/43 trucks one of these days, but when I do find them they're more expensive than the 1/25 trucks! Go figure.
