  1. Some really nice looking trucks there. Thanks for posting the pics.
  2. Glad to help. The Texas plate came from the Revell of Germany W900 kit. Seemed appropriate for a truck called "LoneStar".
  3. That looks really nice. I hope the auction goes well.
  4. Here is a shot of the rear of my LoneStar: Hope that helps.
  5. That looks great. You did a really nice job on that ProStar.
  6. Looks really good in blue. I like it.
  7. Looking really nice! Any logos planned for the doors?
  8. These Ford kits build up nicely. Like Terry, I've not built this particular kit, but I have built the LN8000 Short Hauler. Here's a link to an article about detailing the 3208 (or V200 as Ford called them): http://public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thscale/model_magazine_articles/car_modeller/cm09_sept_1991_cate/ Of course, if you're going to put all that time & effort into the engine, you'll need to hinge the hood! Here's mine that I painted Ford Blue (period correct):
  9. Your best starting point for a Cummins ISX is probably the Auslowe Cummins Signature 600: http://www.auslowe.com.au/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=281&category_id=16&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=27
  10. Great job! I like the color. It's really coming together nicely.
  11. That's really impressive, Joe. What does it hook to? Are you planning on a load of some sorts?
  12. It has to do with the very strict overall length laws in Europe as opposed to the US & Canada. Once the length laws changed here in the US, cab-overs just about went extinct. You can still find them, but they are few & far between. Wal-Mart is supposed to be experimenting with a Freightliner Argosy & a 60ft trailer combination; but I think that's mostly out West.
  13. So, what's the major, work-stoping issue? Inquireing minds want to know.
  14. I do like it. That's a very nice looking Actros.
  15. Tom, I'm inclined to agree: Moebius is our logical choice for new US kits. Round2 & Revell are happy doing reissues; and Italeri seems to be reissuing kits & making new European trucks (and that's not a bad thing).
  16. Wonder if it's going to have the "LoadCraft" logos?
  17. Thanks, Joe. They sure are.
  18. The kit that I built was the Steven's International reissue, and that only had the Alcoas & the round tanks.
  19. That's a lot of hay. Some nice looking trucks, too.
  20. Mark, the APA logos came from Jerry @ Model Truckin'. As for the New Jersey plate, I got it from either The Plate Shack ( http://www.plateshack.com/ ) or Jim Moini's License Plates ( http://moini.net/ ). I can't remember. PM me your email address, and I'll send you want I have. The Mack R-model was a really nice kit to build.
  21. Looks great, Sean. Either a tanker or a flatbed would look nice.
