  1. You're welcome, Sean. Thanks for the compliment on the Revell hood, but so you know I didn't paint it. A friend of mine did it for me.
  2. Glad to help. You can contact Gary at gwtrucks@yahoo.com for a price list.
  3. I was asked in another thread if I could post some pictures of the GW Trucks W900B & W900S conversions that I have. So, here is a little "in box review" of these cabs. Let's start with the W900B. The GW Trucks W900B is a complete cab & hood conversion kit including all of the parts you see here: The kit includes the cab, hood & grill, interior floor pan with dash board & door panels, cab mounts, external air cleaner. visor, and intercooler. All parts are cast in white resin. The cab: Here are some comparison shots of the GW Trucks W900B hood with the AMT hood (center) and the Revell of Germany hood (blue): Now, onto the W900S. The W900S is a special sloped hood version of the W900 that is marketed toward the dump & mixer applications. The GW Trucks W900S kit includes all of the parts you see here: Also available is the W900S Front End Suspension Correction Kit: The Cab: Again, all parts are molded in white resin, and have very clean, crisp details. According to Gary, these cabs are mid to late 1990s. Correct engines for these trucks would be as follows: W900B - Cummins M11, N14, or ISX (late 1990s), Caterpiller - C12, 3406B, or 3406E (late 1990s), Detroit Diesel - Series 60 W900S - Cummins M11 or ISM, Caterpiller - C10 or C11. Hope this helps.
  4. That interior looks great! I think we can get some tips & techniques from you!
  5. Thanks, Bill. Actually I had a heck of a time trying to reshape the nose to get it "more correct". Still a little to pointy. Those are some nice pics of the TWA L-1011. It is sort of a shame that they got cut up, but they are obsolete.
  6. Looks good in the green & white. Nice clean build.
  7. I like the door decals. Very nice.
  8. You might have a long wait. This is a 5 year old thread, and Bill hasn't signed on to the Forum since June 2013.
  9. Sure, I'll take some this evening, and create a thread in the "Truck Resin & Aftermarket" section.
  10. Yes, he does. I have his W900B & W900S. They're quite nice.
  11. Nice looking Saturn V. The kit comes with astronauts?
  12. If it's the truck I think it is, you're going to need some more slope on that hood.
  13. I seem to remember that AITM has a C-Series sleeper. It's not listed on his site, but I think I saw one on his table at a recent show. Email him to see.
  14. Yes, I forgot to mention the visor. That really adds something to the model. Too bad this one & the Monogram Peterbilt 359 don't have visors.
  15. Auslowe makes 1/32 Mack spokes? Did not know that.
  16. Nice job. Are you going to use the tank trailer that comes in the kit, or something else?
  17. Nice job on that one. I like the color scheme, Nice idea to fill those holes in the cab & sleeper. Relocating the marker lights make a big difference.
  18. Very interesting & unique subject. Well done.
  19. Depending on the age of the kit, you'll need to seal the tube & balsa fins. The Estes rocket kits that I built in the 1980s came with the tube already sealed. You'll need some sort of sanding sealer for the balsa fins, but after that it's prime & paint as normal.
  20. Looks nice. Interesting trick with the glue in the emblems.
  21. Nice blue. Do you see many LoneStars in Australia? We see them every so often here in the Northeast US. They're kind of a rare breed. ProStars, on the other hand, are all over the place.
  22. Very nice looking ProStar. What? No orange?
