It's no understatement that this is a tough little kit. I don't think the molds have been updated since IMC first issued the kit back in 1969. If you think the frame was a pain, just wait until you get to the doors!
About the part numbers, IMC had part numbers on the trees "back in the day", but they were removed is subsiquent reissues. The instructions are the original IMC instructions.
Have faith, though! It does build out nicely, if a bit "shovel nosed".
Dude, I feel your pain! I'm currently working on an old Airfix 1/144 Lockheed L1011, and for the past few weeks it seems like it's been putty, sand, prime, repeat. I'm a little sick of sanding dust, if you know what I mean.
Thanks for the info. Oddly enough, I did find information on this vehicle, but it was called SdKfz 265 Panzerbefehlswagen. I don't speak German, so I don't know if the word order really makes a difference or not.
