  1. Yes, and no. While the engine, transmission, & rear suspension would be correct; the front of the frame would still be incorrect. The T600 & T800 don't have that long, skinny "swoopy" front end like the W900. The front spring hangers are very different. GW Trucks does offer a Front End Correction kit. T800/T600 (ok, so it's not the best pic, but I think you get the idea): http://public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thscale/truck_brochures/kenworth/kenworth_t800/t800b06.html
  2. This might help, too: http://public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thscale/model_magazine_articles/car_modeller/
  3. Pretty cool looking British truck. Are these trucks (the real ones, not the kits) from the 1950s?
  4. Would be nice to get a couple of sets to replace the wheels & tires on the snap W900 & Peterbilt 359 kits.
  5. It would look good as a logging truck. Maybe Georgia-Pacific. I think they used these colors.
  6. Nioce looking White-Western Star.
  7. This thread might be helpful, too: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=86601
  8. Tom, everything needs work on this kit. The frame is 1970s W900, the rear suspension should be swapped for an 8-bag from the AMT Aerodyne, the front suspension is incorrect, the engine is a 1970s NTC350 (not available on the T600), the grill & hood are a single molded unit. Even the cab interior is wrong.
  9. Great looking heavy-haul Mack.
  10. Really sharp looking fleet you've got going there with this 352 & your 359M. Fantastic job.
  11. Great looking Peterbilt. I like it with the long hood & the 1693. It's different.
  12. Stunning details! Extremely realistic. Very, very nice job.
  13. Looking good, Tom. Will you have this in Utica?
  14. Hey, it couldn't hurt. He might say "No way" (or whatever then say in Czech), but you won't know until you ask! I might be interested in a P/E set for the Revell of Germany Peterbilt 359 (or AMT or Revell/Monogram) if it was the right price.
  15. Wonder if he could "upsize" some of his 1/25 W900 stuff for the 1/16 W900. He seems to have a lot of W900 P/E sets in the works.
  16. Thanks for adding those, Casey. Forgot about them, and I have both of them. Also, there's the White Freightliner SD, too. Think that was reissued a couple of years ago, too.
  17. The most recent reissued for AMT COEs are the Kenworth K123, Peterbilt 352 & Chevrolet Titan/90 (although the Chevrolet is getting a little scarce). The GMC Astro/95 & Mack Cruiseliner were reissued several years ago, and should still be available on eBay.
  18. Really nice! I'm loking forward to seeing this "in person" in Utica.
  19. Excellent job. You captured the "White-Freightliner fleet look" quite well.
  20. Well, that makes my life a little bit easier.
  21. KJ, how did you update the dash? The one I'm working on is (hopefully) going to be a 1992-ish T600B.
  22. No, it's a 1970s Cummins that actually wasn't even available in the T600. About the only thing that is correct on this kit is the cab shell & the sleeper. Everything else either needs some correcting, or is completely wrong. The frame front end is for the W900, not the T600 (as mentioned earlier, & a resin correction is available from GW Trucks); the rear suspension should be replaced with the 8-bag suspension from the AMT K100 AeroDyne, the engine is about 20 years out of date and should be replaced with either a Detroit Diesel Series 60, Cummins N14, or Caterpiller 3406B or C. You should replace the transmission as well as the main with auxiliary that's in the kit is also out of date. The chrome grill should be stripped & molded into the hood as this was a single piece hood/grill unit on the T600. I'm working on one now, and it's a challenge to make this kit correct. Good luck with your project, and may the Force be with you!
  23. Very nice build. Well done.
