  1. Nice looking snowplow. I like the floats on the front. Nice job on the engine, too. Tilting the hood make a big difference, & adds a nice detail. Question though, why does it have a blue light on the roof of the cab? Shouldn't it be amber? Here's a little help:
  2. Nice start to the 12V-71. I like it.
  3. I've been trying to paint the cab over the last few days, but that ridiculous red plastic keeps turning the white stripe a slight pink!! The cab is in the purple pond, and we'll try again this weekend.
  4. Your wreckers did? Hmm, mine only has the sleeper roof; at least that's all I could find. It's the latest reissue, too.
  5. Yes, the T900 is the W900 kit with some Australian-ish stuff & a right hand drive dash thrown in the box. I just checked my W900 Wrecker kit, and it does not have the sleeper in the box.
  6. Nice clean build. Good color combination.
  7. I think you did a great job. Like you said, it might not be exact, but it's very close. Well done.
  8. Nice job on those Korean War fighters. Always liked the F86. Your MiG-15 looks spot-on!
  9. Thanks for the comments, guys. Thank you for the offer, Alex. I appreciate it.
  10. Should be interesting. What are you going to hook it to?
  11. Nice combination. I like how it all came together. The Marmon looks great.
  12. Nice looking daycab. Looks good.
  13. Thanks, guys. It's back to work on Monday, so we'll see how much more progress I make.
  14. Thanks, Anthony. I'll definately keep at it.
  15. Nice looking W900.
  16. Gator Glue works for me.
  17. Thanks. We'll see how it goes.
  18. Thanks. The gauges are a decal that comes with the kit. Makes life a lot easier. As far as masking the seats, I didn't use any tape. I just used the raised lines on the seats themselves.
  19. I've been working on this one (on & off) for a while now, and I figured it was time to upload some WIP pics. So far the kit has been quite nice. This is my first Italeri kit, and it really has gone together quite well. Still not a big fan of the multi-piece cab, though. Here is the look I'm going for: Apparently, the kit is an earlier version of the IVECO 190 26, but since the kit is Italian (Italeri), IVECO is Italian, and I'm part Italian; I figured that Vigili del Fuoco was an obvious choice. Here are a couple of shots of the frame & the (I think) Deutz F6L engine: I didn't have any good references for the interior of Vigili del Fuoco vehicles from the 1980s, so I went with what Italeri suggested: And a couple of shots of the body in primer. It will eventually be Testors Model Masters Italian Red (seems logical): Well, there you have it. Any suggestions are, of course, welcome; and I'll keep you up to date as I progress.
  20. Looking good. Don't forget to cut the tabs off of the bottom of the cab/sleeper.
  21. Good looking Mack.
