  1. Looking good. Are you going to put any SCBA packs in the seats? I know a guy on another board that makes them with a 3D printer.
  2. The AeroDyne cab was introduced in 1976; so this is a 1976-80 K100C. Or there abouts.
  3. Thanks, guys. I did some digging when I got back to my computer (original post was from my phone), and I found the PDF Info Sheet describing the Space Cab & Super Space Cab. http://www.daf.com/SiteCollectionDocuments/Products/2012-infosheets/Modelrange/DAF-XF105-infosheet-Cab-EN.pdf At 2.105m (6ft 10-7/8in) most people can stand upright in the Super Space Cab. This is good information. I'm thinking the Space Cab will make a better XT.
  4. I suppose it's a start, but I don't know what I'm looking at.
  5. I'm really not that familiar with European trucks. Can someone tell me the difference between the DAF XF105 & the XF105 Space Cab?
  6. Looks pretty good. Is that 1/35? Too bad it got stolen.
  7. Looks good. It's from the 79th Fighter Squadron based at Shaw AFB in South Carolina. Is that plane flying without a pilot?
  8. Nice job! Very well done. The 2000 Sydney Olympics livery is very cool.
  9. I'll probably pick up the Volvo VN780 & Ford AeroMax106. The IVECO Stralis Hi-Way is intriguing!
  10. I'd definately be interested in the window forming. I have a Marmon 57P & a Ford N-Series that l"ll need to make glass for.
  11. Excellent job on the wrecker. Nice clean build. You're allowed to have blue lights on wreckers in Texas?
  12. Nice. I like the old school stripes.
  13. Ah, colors. Sometimes that's the hardest decision.
  14. Have you thought about one for the AMT Fruehauf Flatbed Trailer? That kit has a "wood" deck.
  15. Looks pretty cool. Just be careful with your height - no more than 13ft 6" from the road surface.
  16. Looks really nice. I like it. What color did you use on the Peterbilt? I need a cream/beige color like that for another build.
  17. Nice mods. I agree with you about the rivets; they always looked out of scale to me.
  18. Looking pretty sharp!
  19. If you're going for the 1970s look, try sewing elastic that you tint a light tan with Minwax Oak Stain. Here are a couple of shots of the hose bed I did for my American-LaFrance 1000 Series Pumper:
  20. Nice looking pumper. Are you planning on putting hoses in the hose bed?
  21. I use Dupli-Color a lot, and I spray it right out of the can. Since I don't own an airbrush, I've never tried to decant it to use in an airbrush. As for primer, I use either the gray, white, or red Dupli-Color primer depending on what I am painting.
  22. Lets see, at ~$90 for the 1/35 bulldozer I cannot begin to imagine how much a 1/25 bulldozer would cost. What would you guess? $125?
