  1. I haven't seen any P/E for sale for the 1/16 semis. There are some people doing some personal castings (wheels, tires, engines), but no P/E that I know of.
  2. Thanks for the information. If he ever does reissue them, I'll have to get one. It'll keep me from attempting to scratchbuild one. Do you have a Website link or email for Heinz?
  3. There's a resin hood available for the IVECO? Who makes it?
  4. For those of you who are unfamilar with the DAF XT, here are a few photos of the only DAF XT in existance. It was custom built by DAF for A. Jansen B.V in The Netherlands. Here is their Web page about it: http://www.ajansenbv.com/en/news-2/introduction-daf-xt I've also found a few "close-ups": But this truck really peaked my interest. It's an IVECO Strator (PowerStar in Australia):
  5. Doesn't work get in the way of so many things.
  6. Well, that's the plan, anyway. I'm definitely going to build a XF, but depending on how that conversion goes, I might build another one and "rebadge" it as either a Kenworth or a Peterbilt. In a way it sort of makes sense as Kenworth already uses the XF cab for the K500; but in another way it doesn't as Kenworth uses the same cab for the W900, T800, T660, T300, T400, T200, & T100 trucks. So in the end it would probably cost them more money to us the XF cab for anything. It's an interesting academic exercise, anyway. That DAF XF Euro 6 looks really cool!
  7. Excellent news, Jerry. I have an order waiting to be submitted, if I can ever finalize it!
  8. Looks good! I like the detail in the trailer.
  9. Looking good. Are you going to put any SCBA packs in the seats? I know a guy on another board that makes them with a 3D printer.
  10. The AeroDyne cab was introduced in 1976; so this is a 1976-80 K100C. Or there abouts.
  11. Thanks, guys. I did some digging when I got back to my computer (original post was from my phone), and I found the PDF Info Sheet describing the Space Cab & Super Space Cab. http://www.daf.com/SiteCollectionDocuments/Products/2012-infosheets/Modelrange/DAF-XF105-infosheet-Cab-EN.pdf At 2.105m (6ft 10-7/8in) most people can stand upright in the Super Space Cab. This is good information. I'm thinking the Space Cab will make a better XT.
  12. I suppose it's a start, but I don't know what I'm looking at.
  13. I'm really not that familiar with European trucks. Can someone tell me the difference between the DAF XF105 & the XF105 Space Cab?
  14. Looks pretty good. Is that 1/35? Too bad it got stolen.
  15. Looks good. It's from the 79th Fighter Squadron based at Shaw AFB in South Carolina. Is that plane flying without a pilot?
  16. Nice job! Very well done. The 2000 Sydney Olympics livery is very cool.
  17. I'll probably pick up the Volvo VN780 & Ford AeroMax106. The IVECO Stralis Hi-Way is intriguing!
  18. I'd definately be interested in the window forming. I have a Marmon 57P & a Ford N-Series that l"ll need to make glass for.
  19. Excellent job on the wrecker. Nice clean build. You're allowed to have blue lights on wreckers in Texas?
  20. Nice. I like the old school stripes.
  21. Ah, colors. Sometimes that's the hardest decision.
