  1. Nice outside shots. These trucks looked really nice at Utica.
  2. I was behind a UPS Mack CL (I think it was a CL) today that was bob-tailing back to the distribution center. It had the black lines. Must be a "cost savings" thing.
  3. Great looking combination, Dave. I really like it.
  4. Revell of Germany did the same thing with the "Can Do" wrecker. It's a 379 on the box, but a 359 in the box.
  5. Great old school look. The weathering & "wear & tear" looks perfect.
  6. That's a lot of details there! Great job on the Würger.
  7. Nicely done Liberator. What scale is that? Is that a B24D?
  8. Good looking kit, Jacobus. But just wondering, wouldn't it have been easier, and possibly less expensive, if you had ordered it directly from Howard at KFS in the UK?
  9. Coming along nicely. The Transtars were good looking, no nonsense COEs. I don't know how they drove, but they looked nice.
  10. The dipstick has a sensor? That seems a little like overkill.
  11. I'm actually looking forward to the Volvo release. Not so much the Peterbilt or trailer, though.
  12. Thanks for the info, James. That's a nice looking Volvo.
  13. Very nice looking Transtar.
  14. Arnd, I'm not sure the Italeri kit & the AMT kit would match up that easily as they are different scales. You can contact Daniel at plaskit_resin@yahoo.ca. Good luck with your project.
  15. The two Fruehauf beaded trailers are the same, only the reefer van has the reefer stuff in it. The roofs are slightly different between the beaded vans & the exterior post van.
  16. Joe, I can't get the "copy & paste" to work on this Forum when I is Internet Explorer, but it does work when I use Firefox. Here's a list I "compiled" a while ago. It is bo no means a compregunsive list: American Industrial Truck Models ( www.aitruckmodels.com/ ) - resin parts (also hosts Illini Replicas) Model Truckin' ( modeltruckin.com/store/ ) - decals (Jerry is a member here & a great guy) Plaskit - resin parts (Daniel doesn't have a Website, but you can email him at plaskit_resin@yahoo.ca) GW Trucks - resin parts (Gary doesn't have a Website, but you can email him at gwtrucks@yahoo.com for a catalog) P&P Resin Works ( www.ppvintagekits.com/ ) - resin parts Model Maker Shop ( www.modelmakershop.com/modelmakershop/index.php?XTCsid=df08c8lr8cf38ov5u7s3a28e41 ) - resin, P/E, decals Kit Form Services ( www.kitformservices.com/ ) - resin, P/E, decals GR Decals ( www.grdecals.com.au/ ) - decals & P/E Auslowe ( www.auslowe.com.au/ ) - resin, decals, P/E Melbourne Model Truck Accessories ( www.freewebs.com/mmtaer/truckparts.htm ) - resin, P/E, decals The Model Car Garage ( www.modelcargarage.com/store/pc/default.asp ) - mostly car stuff, but some P/E & detail items for rigs Scale Modeling by Chris ( www.scalemodelingbychris.com/ ) - mostly car diorama stuff, but some things could be useful Scale Equipment Ltd. ( www.seltd.net/ ) - mostly car diorama stuff, but some things could be useful Czech Truck Model ( http://www.czechtruckmodel.com/index.php ) - mostly P/E but some multi-media update kits. Personally, I'd stay away from Sourkraut's.
  17. If you want to go resin, Daniel from Plaskit has the LS hood.
  18. I'm pretty sure the LS Series wasn't offered in the 8000 range, only the 9000 range.
  19. This is the kit with the Little Window cab, right? Looks like the springs are molded onto the frame rails, too.
  20. Those would have been nice.
  21. Thank for the info, KJ. That's kind of what I was thinking. So for the 2 late model fleet trucks I have planned it sounds like the coiled air lines would be more appropriate.
  22. Well, there's another kit to add to the "buy" column!
