  1. Nice clead build. I like it. Want to add some quick & simple details? Add some strips of BMF around the windshield frame, to the door handles, & sleeper vents.
  2. This is the one I purchased: http://www.pioneerplastics.com/display-cases/diecast-cases/576c/ Pioneer Plastics does make a smaller one for 1/18 scale as well: http://www.pioneerplastics.com/display-cases/diecast-cases/355c/ but this one might be a little short.
  3. They interior domensions of the case are 15-1/2" long x 7" wide x 6" tall. Hobby Lobby has them for $19.99. The one I used was the one for the 1/18 scale cars, same interior dimensions but $14.99 and it doesn't have a "fancy" wood base.
  4. Interesting. I know P.I.E. & Matlack (and many other Western US carriers) used set-ups like this.
  5. Great job all around. That 1941 is fantastic. Where did you get the 1/32 firefighter?
  6. Pretty cool. I've actually thought of doing something similar; but I've cut the top picture off of the box & recycled the rest.
  7. Very nice. I like both trucks.
  8. I recently purchased on of these cases for my LoneStar, and it is about 1/4" too short inside. The stacks hit the inside of the case. These cases should be ok for my other trucks, though. My LoneStar is just a little too tall.
  9. Nice looking International.
  10. Looks really nice. I like the modifications you did to the cab. Great looking fleet truck.
  11. You have a Big Horn? Where did you get the Big Horn? RMR?
  12. Great looking Cornbinder!
  13. You can always pick uo a Marmon 57P conversion kit from AITM. Dave sells it with or without the sleeper. http://www.aitruckmodels.com/pages/ck81marmon57p.html I have one (haven't built it yet), and it's quite nice.
  14. Fantastic work. Your GMC looks great.
  15. Should be interesting. I tried to put that lavestock trailer behind that tractor, and the rear of the tractor frame is too long for that trailer. If you're going to do this combination, you'll need to make some sort of sliding fifth-wheel (from an AMT kit) so you can mount the fifth-wheel further back so the trailer will clear the end of the tractor frame & mud flaps.
  16. Great work! Everything looks very nice.
  17. Gary Wallace of GW Trucks (gwtrucks@yahoo.com) makes custom display cases for trucks of all sizes.
