  1. I like it. Nice detailing. Where did you get those figures, & where are you getting your new ones?
  2. That wrecked Astro or Titan looks interesting!
  3. Thanks, Casey. I'll have to see if I can track that down. You're correct about the V225, it was the 3208 built bay Caterpiller for Ford. I wonder if anyone makes that red & yellow logo for the valve covers?
  4. Looking good! What blue did you use on the engine? That's almost perfect for the 1973 Ford I'm doing.
  5. Very cool! Will the decal sheet be similar to the Moebius LoneStar or the Revell of Germany LoneStar?
  6. I doubt it. Moebius will probably do the WorkStar next.
  7. Or possibly Chinese market?
  8. You never know! If those Walmart 60ft traliers become more popular, COEs might see a little resurgance.
  9. Great looking Road Boss. Anthony, so you know GW Trucks offers the 92" & 108" Road Boss hoods in resin. I have them both, and I'm hoping to do an "in box review" of them soon.
  10. Doug, no, I was talking about the Superliner itself. I was too mesmerised by it that I didn't even look at the trailer closely. I've seen the GW Trucks trailer & display cases. They're really nice.
  11. Looking good. I like the colors, too.
  12. I believe the Needlenose (351/281 with the butterfly hood & the 358/288 with the tilt hood like this model) predate the wide hood 359 which was introduced to have a larger radiator to cool the higher horsepower engines that were becoming available.
  13. Thanks. I actually have some of that Detroit Diesel Alpine Green, but to me it looks a little too green. Here's a Detroit Diesel 8V71 that I painted with it: See what I mean?
  14. Ok, thanks. Is there an "off the shelf" color for this?
  15. That's a nice looking engine. Are you rebuilding that one?
  16. A "slightly-bluish-muddy-grey-green". Well, that sure is descriptive! Now I just have to figure out how to paint it.
  17. I just picked up the Revell/Monogram 1937 Ford Delivery Truck, and it seems like a nice kit. The instructions say to paint the engine a "medium green", and a quick Yahoo! search has verified that Ford did indeed paint their engines green in 1937. Now, my question is, what is a good match for the 1937 Ford Engine Green? The only reference pics I've really been able to find are either pics of engines that some has hot-rodded, or black & white photos. Neither of which are terribly helpful.
  18. That's one sweet looking Superliner. Is that the Italeri kit or the AITM conversion?
  19. Nice looking Bearcat! If I remember correctly, Neil Armstrong said it was his favorite airplane to fly.
  20. Nice looking Diamond-REO. I like the colors & your additions.
  21. Looks like you stocked up!
