    I just checked out Prontos Models, and they have some nice P/E sets. Too bad they don't have anything in 1/700. Need some good P/E for a CV-14 USS Ticonderoga & a Fletcher-class destroyer.

    I couldn't get the link for the decals to work. I'll probably use the decals in the MPC kit. I'm going to see if I can locate one of the Revell Charger kits, too.

    So you know Gary Wallace of GW Trucks (gwtrucks@yahoo.com) has both the 92" & 108" BBC hoods in resin. I have them both, and they are quite nice. Shoot him an email if you're interested.

    I don't really care about the curbside issue, as to me it's really a non-issue. I always display my trucks with the hood closed anyway, so one never sees the engine. If you really wanted to you could always put a resin Cummins ISX in it.

    Personally I'm hoping that Italeri reissues the Volvo VN kits. All sorts of fleets use those.

    Yes, I remember those. It seemed like a good idea when I bought it back in 1980-whenever, but like mode "kitchen gadgets" it got used once & never again.
