  1. Nice looking Freightshaker!
  2. Good info, Leo. I didn't know that.
  3. That's really nice. Are you going to load the trailer with 1940 Fords?
  4. They look like this: http://www.hankstruckpictures.com/pix/trucks/charles_danko/2009/03-21/8-8-08-to-8-10-08-punta-gorda-fl--estero-fl-pics-025.jpg Here's their Website: https://www.dutchmaid.com/
  5. Unfortunately, no. But I did find some references to making newer style hoses. He used yellow 3M tape. The person tri-folded it so the seam was in the middle, then he layed it in the hose bed.
  6. Great review. Thank you for that.
  7. It definately looks like a W9000. There's something about the grill, though. Like the angles on the side pieces are off or something. In the photos on your desk, they look more vertical. Not sure. Anyway, it's a heck of a lot better that I could do! Looking forward to future updates.
  8. I just emailed him at plaskit plaskit_resin@yahoo.ca Everything seems to be working fine.
  9. Try KFS for the 1693. That's where I got mine.
  10. Looks great. I'm hoping to do this with a 352 as well.
  11. That's looking really nice! I think you're past all the tricky parts, if i remember correctly. Great job, I like the colors & the rear fenders.
  12. Michael's & JoAnn Fabrics are large, chain craft stores here in the US (and Canada, too, I think). I'm sure you have something similar in the UK. The braided elastic is in the sewing section, but like I said, it's too "old" for this truck. I found a tutorial on making newer style hoses. I'll see if I can find it again.
  13. Shoelaces would be incorrect as they are generally too thick, and make you truck look like it's haulung, well, shoelaces. To replocate cotton jacketed hose, I've had good luck using braided elastic (used to make waitbands & cuffs tight. Check Jo-Anns or Michael's). For the newer synthetic hoses, I've seen yellow tape used quite effictively.
  14. That's one nice looking Dog, or shoud I say Duck.
  15. Nice looking ALF. All you need are hoses for the hose bed, and your set!
  16. Nice job on those K100s.
