  1. Very nice looking Western Star. The colors are great. I like the black stacks.
  2. Thanks, Roger. I'll have to look into the 1967 Fastback (never really cared for that body style, though).
  3. Ok, so I don't usually build cars, I'm more into heavy trucks; but I've always liked the 1965 Ford Mustang. I purchased the AMT 1966 Ford Mustang a while back with the intention of building it someday. Well, someday might be coming sooner rather than later. So, not being a "car guy", I have some questions: what is the best way to detail out the engine? Is the Model Car Garage P/E set worth the investment? What details are missing from the kit that can be added? My intent is to build is "factory stock". I'm not going to slam it, or rod it, or anything like that. I've already check the "Car Kit Reviews" section for information on the kit itself. Thanks in advance for the help.
  4. I liked his scale calculator. It was pretty easy to use. http://www.briansmodelcars.com/tools/calculator-scale.asp

  6. I'm getting ready to start this kit, too; and was wondering about the cab assembly. Thanks as well. You mean like an AMT kit?
  7. Neat! Think you can get mor pics of that L-Series?
  8. I don't know that this company hauls, but Stickley Furnature out of Manlius, NY, runs Freightliners like that all the time.
  9. Andre just put the file back for the 48ft flatbed conversion. Should be all set now.
  10. Looks nice! Is this the latest reissue?
  11. That's the Bill Drennen one, right?
  12. I just checked through my files, and apparently I never printed this one off the site. We'll have to contact him & let him know it's missing.
  13. It was totally scanned at one point. I remember reading it on the site, and I thought I had a hard copy someplace. I'll have to go through my files.
  14. Check with Gary Wallace at gwtrucks@yahoo.com He makes a T800 with either an internal or external air cleaner. Can't remember if he makes the T800W & T800H, though.

  17. This might help in making that fuel injector pump: http://public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thscale/model_magazine_articles/car_modeller/cm09_sept_1991_cate/ Here's what it looks like in my Ford LN8000:
  18. Hopefully someone will purchase it.
  19. I've delt with Dennis a couple of times, and always had positive results. I guess all good things must come to an end. Anyway, I've heard good things about these guys: http://www.scalehobbyist.com/index.php
