  1. Thanks, guys. They're quite nice, and I hope they'll be around for a long time.
  2. For my son's seventh birthday, my dad made him some toy trucks. He made him a tractor (that looks sort of like a cross between a HET and a Kenworth), a side dump trailer, (yes, it actually works) and a lowboy trailer. I figured you guys would enjoy seeing them, so I snapped a couple of pics of them while they are still photogenic.
  3. Woops! Well, that one way to show off a detailed frame. Great execution.
  4. Does anyone have any pics from under the hood of a White Road Boss that does NOT have external air cleaners? I'm planning on a Roadway White Road Boss, and they seemed to use an under hood air cleaner.
  5. Looks good, but I wouldn't be driving that under any overpasses any time soon!
  6. Great looking Autocar! It sure is a brute. Nice job in the hinges. What's going under the hood?
  7. Impressive diorama! So much detail, and so big.
  8. Nice looking Freightliner.
  9. Looking good! There sure is a lot of detail in those GMM sets.
  10. I was given the Arii 1/700 USS Fletcher by a friend of mine back in 1999 who wanted to get me into ship modeling. Well, it took me a long time to finish her, but I managed to get her done back in February 2009. I used the Flagship Models Spruance-Class P/E set, and the JAG Collective Warning Circles set. I also swapped out the VLS system for the ASROC launcher to "back date" the kit a little. Although there was a ASROC launcher in the kit, I used a resin one from JAG Collective. I also added small chan on the foredeck for anchor chain. So, this is the look I was going for:
  11. Looks really nice. I like how it came out.
  12. Nice looking tractor. Factory fresh. AMT probably only made the rear wheels singles so it would fit on their lowboy trailer.
  13. Very nice. That Star Destroyer looks huve compared to the other ships. So, is there a 1/2256 Super Star Destroyer or Death Star? Those would be really huge!
  14. Very impressive build, and Harry's right; the P/E makes a huge difference. There's just someing about standing on a battleship. Makes you feel safe. At least that's how I felt standing on the USS Massachusetts in Fall River.
  15. As far as I know, he doesn't have a Website, but he does sell quite often on eBay. His Seller ID is rhino9905. http://www.ebay.com/sch/rhino9905/m.html?hash=item4ab6a08356&item=320891552598&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&_trksid=p4340.l2562
