  1. Probably wouldn't turn very well, and deliveries would be a nightmare; but I bet it would ride the Interstate really nice.
  2. Does Miami count? Lived there from 1973-1986.
  3. Sounds like it could be an interesting article. What magazine was it in?
  4. Yes, you'll have to resize them. The ones I've downloaed are about 3.25" high x 6.5" wide. I resized them to about .19" high x .4" wide (approximately 6" x 12" in 1/25 scale).
  5. Glad to help. I've "downloaded" a bunch of plates as well. All I need is to get some BMF decal paper, and print them up.
  6. Ryan, Here are some sites that you can download actual plates from. All you need to do is resize them. http://www.moini.net/home.html http://www.plateshack.com/
  7. This is looking really nice. Should be quite impressive when it's done. Are you going to load it wath cars?
  8. How about this: Caterpiller 3408? Now, you're an armor guy, so this might interest you as well: W900 P/E Set
  9. Welcome to truck modeling! Engine color is a "hot topic" of debate within the community. So, here goes. Out of the box, this Kenworth W900 is about a 1972-82 (give or take a little). If your truck will be a 1972 to about 1978 truck, the engine should be white. After that, it should be New Caterpiller Yellow.
  10. Nice job on the lift cylinders. It was worth the effort.
  11. Tony, I couldn't agree more, and I think that any company (or person) has the right to defend their work & ideas. I din't know that Howard got wacked for £20K. That's a little harsh. Is Australia as "sue happy" as the US? It's ridiculous over here.
  12. Oh, they are very proud of their product & logo. They probably love to see it out there. It's just going to cost you about $5000 to do it legaly.
  13. I know that armor & aircraft modelers have been dreeding this for years, and I'm sure that their turn will come. They-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named are very protective of their copyright. More so than other companies. I have a friend who is a lawyer in DC (imagine that, a lawyer in DC). Anyway, one of is first jobs out of law school was to ensure that the copyright of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers was not infringed upon. Particularly in South America, because he speeks Spanish. He is quite well off!
  14. Tim, That's good information. Thanks. Built a couple of these, have you?
  15. Mike, Go into "Your Profile". click on "Edit My Profile", then there's a tab on the left that says "Change Signature". Hope that helps.
  16. I think the green one was the pre-issue photo of a previuos release. The current release is the blue "Lightning Express" box art. The kit can be built out of the box as the blue truck with the lightning bolts, or orange with white panels. The decal sheet does not have the stripes for the green truck. Well, at lease my kit doesn't. I building one of the orange kits, and I've built the silver issue as well.
  17. You're talking about the Revell USA snap kit, right?
  18. Looking nice. I like the green.
  19. I know my models didn't look half as good as this when I was 14. I don't even think most of them were painted. Build what makes you happy, Nick.
  20. Nice stuff! Thanks. And a Peterbilt no less.
  21. I think it's just a typo on the Tower Hobbies page. The T900 is an Australian Kenworth, and from the picture it appears to have a left hand drive. I have no idea what wreckers in Australia look like, so this one might be able to be converted.
